  1. Here is Super VRT in action on the caps you are talking about.
  2. I stand corrected, my mitt is a fine grade. Either way, I can see how clay will always have its place. I'll keep mine for windows, exhaust tips & wheels.
  3. I recently did a pretty dramatic turn around on my dads 12 year old work truck. I didn't take any before pictures, was kinda spare of the moment deal. I'll just say it is hammered, clear coat peeling on the roof & hood. Clear coat that is left was very oxidized & severely swirled. 2 Bucket Wash Clay Bar Alternative while Washing Blown Dry(Masterblaster Sidekick) LOVE that thing by the way! Super VRT on all Trim(Can see how dry it is in the picture, that's 2 coats of VRT on the door trim) 1 step Polish with Orange Pad/Orange Polish Coat of LPS Coat of BG Also prepped my friends truck for his video shoot. It already has a coat of LPS so it didn't take much. Killer Waxx is a sponsor when it was at SEMA, but we'll keep it too ourselves that I use Adam's on it! In all fairness, he does use his Killer Waxx products if I don't help & bring my Adam's arsenal. 2 Bucket Wash Blown Dry(Masterblaster Sidekick) Coat of BG on Paint & Chrome Bumpers Lots of time with Metal Polish #1 & #2 on Wheels
  4. I recently bought and used a clay bar alternative and I liked it. Bought a red, heavy duty foam pad and a blue, medium grade wash mitt. I felt the wash mitt was very nice, didn't mar the paint at all and easy to use. Used it with Adam's blue soap & about 2oz of Rinseless wash in a bucket. Now the red sponge however was a little tricky to use, I wasn't really a fan of it. But neither one of them worked on glass near as good as my Adam's big blue clay bar, it was a no contest there.
  5. I like the idea of a water soaked microfiber applicator. I have a couple of these I don't use, might have just found a use for them.
  6. I took the pump off my BG because it would leak out the tip a pretty good amount. So I swapped the pump onto an older bottle of VRT and put the regular cap on the BG, all works better now!
  7. Just hit the place order button! Kinda random items… Thanks for the savings!
  8. I recently bought the BG kit and love using it, it makes dark colors pop! My truck is protected with LPS and I now use the glaze after a wash.
  9. Wow… That's disgusting! You're a better man than me, I wouldn't even touched it. He better given you a $100 tip, that turnaround is unbelievable!
  10. Thanks. I find it soft as well, but I don't mind it. My moms 2013 Jeep Cherokee has clear coat tough as nails and it was aggravating to polish out.
  11. I always recommend the "Essential Kit" with a gallon of Detail Spray & gallon of APC.
  12. Thanks! Now if all these April rain showers would go away, I could keep it clean.
  13. Just made another order.. Can't wait to try the new wash wedge! Forgot to order the new HGG though, o'well.. There is always another order! haha Anyway; my tailgate area hasn't been beading much so I ran over it with clay bar, white pad, white polish, LPS & a coat of buttery wax. Then I've been neglecting my door jams.. So broke out the 2 step polish and protected with LPS with a foam block, worked great! Ohhh… And can't forget ending the weekend with crawfish!!
  14. When I apply LPS by hand, I use the foam block. Seem to use less product and goes further than when I used the microfiber block.
  15. No work on the truck.. But I did put the foam gun to work today! Still needs a complete cleaning & thinking about putting some LPS on the body panels & motor before the first trip out this year.
  16. Started full correction on my moms 2013 Jeep Cherokee. This thing is tricky to work on, so many tight areas & the clear coat is tough as nails.
  17. He stated that a pad brush was used. I didn't see if you clayed it or not though. I'm assuming you did before polishing?
  18. Took me about 20mins to load it offshore.. But I'm ready to get home and clean mine up!
  19. This product is so easy to put on with a machine and it removes like its not even there, love this stuff!
  20. I clayed my side windows the other day with big blue clay & glass cleaner, it got a few of them out. I've used Bar Keepers Friend and the finest steel wool in the past with great results, will go back to get the remaining spots left.
  21. I look at that car & cringe at the sight of all those body lines & angles.. Good job on it though!
  22. Always will be one of my favorite trucks!
