  1. I have a Cyclo and a Rupes 15 and a SK mini. They are all really nice but if I had to get rid of one it would be the Cyclo. It just doesn't have the correcting power of the long throw 15mm machines. It is great for putting Sealant on because it covers a big area and small ones alike (8" forward - 4" turned sideways). But I have ran into clear coat that takes several passes with Cyclo to correct I am impatient and don't like spending that much time correcting paint.  The Cyclo is great if you don't mind doing a bunch of passes to get things done. 

  2. You could try to use a cleaner like all purpose or tire and rubber cleaner on it. A lot of the time the black trim and things need to be cleaned really well then coated with VRT or maybe even some ceramic trim coating to look better. I would use an all purpose type towel and just scrub it down really good (after testing on a small non-visible spot of course) then seal it when it is cleaned up good. 

  3. Just did a Nissan Murano this past week that was silver. It was really easy to do. Don't let it intimidate you. The worst part is on a super light color the "rainbow affect" is kind of hard to see and if it is cool where you are applying the coating it does take a good 30 seconds to a minute for this to appear. Just go slow and make sure you wipe it off good. I did get a spot or two were I didn't get it wiped off and could see the streak marks. I used a little brilliant glaze and it seemed to fix it. It really was no harder to do than a traditional wax job. The prep is really the key get it super clean and it will go great.  

  4. I have the 8HP master blaster and a 60 gallon air compressor. The master blaster pushes a ton more air volume than the compressor. The compressor blows harder but not near as much.Plus the air is heated and dries the water really fast. I still don't dry my entire vehicle with the MB, just blow the majority of the water off the flat spots and get the cracks and mirrors then finish with detail spray and a towel to catch any water spotting that may have happened. I used the compressor for awhile but it never really dried things  it just pushed the water around to other areas in my opinion the heat is the key to the performance of the MB.  

  5. I personally have found that if you have to much product on the paint before using H2O it streaks much easier. I started out using it every 2nd or 3rd wash and that was way to often. Depending on the environment your car is exposed to you may only need to put it on once every couple months.

  6. I have a Sun Joe SPX3000 it is a nice electric washer that has a really good GPM rating which I feel is as important as the pressure rating. Defiantly a nice thing to have but i only use it to wash the vehicles when they are super dirty with road grime on them like after a snow storm or being in mud. I do not have a foam cannon. I do have a foam gun which I don't always use either it adds a step that slows down the washing process so if I am in a hurry the old 2 bucket wash will always be the most effective and done correctly safe for your paint.  No matter what you start with you will end up owning all the products they all work great and make car cleaning easy.

  7. I like the G&G but you can go over board with it. I noticed if you apply it to often it gets really streaky and kind of hard to get to layer nicely. I have found with cars that are garaged and don't get real dirty once every 5 or so washes is plenty. I also pull the car in the garage if it sunny out before applying it, direct sun makes it difficult to spread evenly even on a wet car.

  8. I use the Cyclo as my only polisher. I have used it on all kinds of vehicles from full size trucks to small 30's ford hot rods. It is nice because when you turn it sideways it can get in really tight areas and when you are doing big areas it covers a lot of ground. There are times I wish I had a bit more correcting power just to save some time, but I have never been disappointed with the end result. I don't detail for a living so having multiple machines for me seemed like a lot of money to put out for not a lot of gain. I have used the Rupes machines at detail clinics and they are really nice but I have never regretted my cyclo purchase.

  9. A drill attachment with the 2 step metal polishes will make quick work of them if they are bare aluminum. I am pretty sure they are. If you dont have the  focas drill attachment with Adam's pads you can use one from the auto parts but i would highly recomend thier metal polish. You can use it by hand but it will take a lot longer.
