  1. Wow. Sorry it happened to you but thanks for sharing as I was also wondering if I could use a red hex app to apply the glass sealant. So I will not try that now.
  2. I do have some rinseless so I may try that route prior to LPS
  3. Is there a reason you do it this way? I was going to ask if maybe a good option would be to use the wedge on the lower panels and front bumper for bug removal?
  4. Looks great. Hope I can get the same results
  5. Thanks Dan. I couldn't believe just how firm the Orange hex is compared to all the others.
  6. great info. thanks. I am finding the SVRT to be a really versatile product and like the matted OEM look it gives my plastic trim
  7. truck looks great. hope I can keep my Black one in as good of shape as your 2013 is.
  8. That is what I was assuming. Thanks for the answers.
  9. Is this necessary each and every time you want to dress the plastic? Which I usually like to do every time I wash. I haven't noticed running on my current cars, but when my new truck arrives it will have plastic bed rails as well as various other parts and would hate to have take the time to scrub the plastic each and every time.
  10. One more question. When using the Hex grip pads, can a person do an entire vehicle with one pad or will two or more be needed? Thanks as always I love the responses I get here on the forum.
  11. Thanks for the replies. I know its preferred to machine polish, but I don't want to take that on just yet. Ive seen some guys get some pretty good results with just hand polishing. Im not going for perfect paint, but if I can get a few swirls out then ill be happy.
  12. No machines for me but I would like to hand polish with pcp and then revive on my wife's car. On average how much polish should it take to do an average size sedan(Toyota Camry). Also following the revive, is another wash needed or can I just dry towel buff the residue and go right to liquid paint sealer? Thanks for any tips
  13. Got the vrt and in/out they work great. Just looking for other ideas for brushes and such as I am short and the back of my engine bay seems so far away lol.
  14. I have watched the Shine Docs video on engine bay cleaning, he uses the red wheel brush and also the bent wheel woolie I think. Any other brushes or tools you are all using, especially those with trucks/suvs where its tough to reach all the way back in the bay or down into the engine compartment.
  15. must have been my mistake, I thought I read other threads where others are using the 16:1. I will try the 23:1 or 64:1 and see how I like that. Thanks for the help.
  16. Does using the 16:1 rinseless as a clay lube mix hinder the bonding of the liquid paint sealant due to the wax additive in the rinseless wash solution?
  17. Thanks for the fast replies everybody that's what I love about this forum great information. The rinseless wash will definitely be used on a dirty vehicle as I plan to use it during the winter here in north eastern Wisconsin.
  18. How well would the waffle weave towels work as arinseless wash towel instead of using double softs or edgeless?
  19. Makes sense. I have never thought about towels or soap before I started with this forum, lol. Thanks guys
  20. You're right not an issue in winter just was posing a question.
  21. It may be a dumb question but I noticed the glass towels have two distinct textures. Is there a performance difference or do you prefer one side to clean and the other to buff? I might be over thinking it. Also the glass cleaner is great, only used it in my bathroom mirror so far but I've never gotten it cleaner and with only 1 spray????
  22. I am getting ready to winterize my wife's white Corolla and plan to do a full wash clay and two coats of liquid paint. Also plan to use h20gg every couple weeks or so. This car shows bugs like crazy, would a coat of buttery over the liquid paint on the bumper help make it easier to remove bugs? Or will the liquid paint and h2ogg be enough. Her car has never been sealed or waxed before so maybe that is why it is so hard to remove the bugs. Any input? Thanks to all in the forums I have gotten some great info here from you.
