  1. I just looked all over and I don't see it. Some of the polisher kits would have the patriot wax included and they don't even have it in the pictures. It's possible they are out and waiting to get more in.
  2. Like I said this was the only one that it happend to but it gets really hot pretty fast so you need to give it time to cool off
  3. Has this happend to anyone? This is the new gen pad and I was using the mark 2 at speed 4 and 3. I wasn't pushing hard but I had enough force to keep the polisher flat. I did a test spot on the bed of my truck and then finished the bed. I then moved to another panel but it had 3-5 minutes to cool down I'd say. I took the pad off and it was extremely hot. The face of the pad was cool and that's what I was watching for but when I removed the pad the backing plate and the part of the pad that hooks to it was very hot and I noticed it looked like this. I grabbed another orange and white pad and they worked just fine. Any ideas?
  4. I'm going to do some paint correction Sunday or sometime soon and I know I have sealant and a fresh layer of H20 Guard and gloss on it and when I wash the vehicle should I put 2oz of APC in the soap bucket or wash with dawn? I've seen this on here before but I couldn't find it when I looked
  5. I received the same ones! I was pretty excited about it
  6. Adam's has a 4" Metal polishing pad that could be used with the mini. I'm not sure how well it would work but I thought I say something about it.
  7. Awesome! Thank you guys for the help! Seems like I should get it and I won't regret it! I'm opening my detailing business 2 days after I graduate ( about 2 weeks away) and the very first vehicle is a H2 hummer and he wants everything done to it. So I owned a PC but the detail shop I worked at used the flex 3401 so when getting a polisher I decided on giving the rupes LHR15 a try because I hear everyone talking about how good Rupes polishers are!
  8. I received this polisher from Adam's by mistake. Not a big deal, they have already talked to me and we have got it figured out! They are sending me the Rupes LHR 15 and they will send me a return label so I can send back the mini.. I wanted the mini and the LHR 15 but just couldn't make the commitment to doing it.. I have done some looking and people love the mini! so I might just have them charge me for it and I keep it! What does everyone think about the mini?? I have the PC and can change it to the 4" setup but I know the Rupes would be better for the small jobs.
  9. Yes if you get silicone in the body shop then it can fish eye the new paint and then it would have to get repainted agian and costing the shop a lot of money
  10. I'm going to be working in a body shop and you are not able to use silicone inside a body shop. Well I use detail spray a lot and that contains some silicone Adam's told me. Can I use rinseless wash diluted for the same reasons I'd use detail spray? Like to prime a pad, wipe off polish if needed, wipe off wax if needed, and stuff like that?
  11. It takes practice! I went from using a PC and then I got a job offer (detailing) and they only used the flex and it was a little hard to use but they made sure when i wasn't working that i was using it on a junk hood. It takes time and I can now use it just fine. BUT i just 20 minuets ago ordered a rupes 15 from Adam's
  12. I have used that before and it seemed just fine but it was a pain to take the soap out.. i would only do it if necessary but lets see what everyone else has to say
  13. I didn't even relize it but I'm already following you James lol
  14. So can you use APC for the interior?? like use it to get stains out or like scuffs on plastics? I know they have products for that but has anyone tried APC for the interior before
  15. I love mine and I use it after every wash! My mirrors hold a LOT of water and this helps me so much! If you get it, you wont regret it
