  1. Yay for me too, use it when drying Rinseless wash panel by panel. Funny thing is I haven't used Detail Spray on a dry car yet.
  2. Hey Jason, welcome to the wonderful world of machine polishing! I agree with John that 1 pad does not seem to be enough, although if you will be doing the whole car over 2 days instead of all at once you might get away with it. I only have 2 of each, but have smallish cars and use 2 different size pads depending on the area. I'm sure you already know this but I'll mention it anyway, the main thing is to start clean, meaning good strip wash and clay. You do not want the pad picking up debris from the car, so the only thing that needs to be cleaned from the pad is polish. After getting the pad primed, apply the polish sparingly, you don't need a whole bunch of product to do a good job. After each panel, I use a pad brush to get rid of excess, dried compound and if needed hit it with a blast of compressed air. If the car is in decent condition I can get away with one pad, but its nice to have a back up just in case.
  3. Welcome Robert and great looking truck! Strip that puppy down and start over with your choice of Adam's products and I'll bet you'll see a big difference. If the bank account allows a little fluff check out the Brilliant Glaze, that will really make it pop!
  4. James, sorry to here about your injury and hope the surgeries went well, pain is minimal and everything heals quickly. Just looking at the size of your truck to detail makes me hurt, lol! Would love to see your worksheets, I've never been any good at that sort of thing and appreciate the work that goes into them, and they help me out a lot. PM on its way and TIA.
  5. Welcome Lenore, very nice stable of rides to choose from! Hopefully the C7 is getting driven enough to require weekly washes!
  6. For a face like that I wouldn't mind washing the floor. What a gorgeous pup!
  7. Now that's exciting! Lots of pics please, love that car.
  8. Thanks for the write-up John, as I probably would not have tried the Tire Shine that I received in my last mystery box, fearing it would be too shiny...like the video showed it would be. Tried it, love it! Super VRT will be delegated to other areas now, Tire Shine for the tires from now on!
  9. Thanks Jim & James! I've used quite a few high end products before but Adam's definitely raises the bar on looks. Got a pretty good collection of products now so next time it will be from top to bottom and inside to out!
  10. Not done today, although both were done last week. The '98 C5 (Nikita, or Nikki as she likes to be called) has been in the family for many years, my daily driver for awhile, then the wife's grocery getter and now my youngest sons daily. She needed a good going over as there were some swirl/rub marks and water spots so I spent a good part of the day giving her a strip bath, clay and polish. I wasn't going for perfect as the old girl will never look like new again, but she came out pretty good in my eyes. Wheels only got a quickie, will wait for Spring to pull and polish. Didn't have my VRT from Adam's yet, so let the tires go too. Changed the oil, charged the battery and gave the engine a quick wipe down. Need that VRT!!! Once that was complete and the kid brought my car back, gave the C7 a rinseless and quick clay. This one also needs a full polish, needed it from day one, but that will also wait until Spring. I did get the "chip protector" clear plastic pulled off the rear rocker panels as that was bugging me and touched up an awful factory/dealer correction swirl that was noticeable on the rear lid. Anyway, not too shabby with my limited Adam's products...also used G&G on the C7, but gave it to the kid to maintain his. Yeah, I'm hooked on Adam's products! (and did I mention I like Torch Red?)
  11. Subscribed Joe. Contests, giveaways and new videos...just gets better & better
  12. Nice job & a great story! Always good to have someone appreciate your work, here's hoping you get those 'word of mouth' customers.
  13. Thanks again to all for the very warm welcome! Now to get doing some of that shiny stuff...
  14. Thank you for the warm welcome! Lots of good people and info for sure!
  15. I've enjoyed detailing my personal vehicles since my first car, and made tons of mistakes along the way (still making mistakes, just not as many!). Heard about Adam's years ago on the Corvette Forums, but never pulled the trigger to try them out. Recently I've been running out of a few products, and others were aged, so finally decided to go Adam's. Placed my first order a week or so before Christmas for Brilliant Glaze, H2O G&G and Buttery Wax to try out, the holidays stalled the order a bit. In the meantime I cruised the Forum and checked out the video's multiple times. On Christmas day I emailed Adam about a non important observation in the Forums, which I didn't expect a reply to. Not long after the man himself emailed me back...on Christmas day to say the least! With customer interaction & dedication like that I was sold even before my products arrived. So here I am, waiting on my 3rd order which should hold me over for at least a little while. Gave the '15 Vette a go round with BG, G&G and a topper of Buttery and am blown away. The paint looks so liquidy that it appears to be in motion! The '98 Vette which was my daily driver on and off (~140k miles) now belongs to my youngest son, and will be getting the full makeover this coming week. Will try and post some pics of both by the weekend if anyone is interested. Whoa...didn't mean to type that much and bore everyone, typical for me to make a short story long, lol. Anyway, with the great attention to detail (pun intended) and customer service from Adam's (and Adam himself), the excellent products so far and the ease of use I am a customer for a very long time. Happy detailing to all and looking forward to what 2016 will bring! Jim
