  1. Nice turkey and pie Bill-V8V!???? I grill up turkeys on the roti or indirect high heat. Did you cook the pie on the BGE? and did you make your dough? 99% of all the deep dish and regular pies I cook are on the kettle and everyone loves them.
  2. Spicy Italian sausage deep dish pizza. Ready to go on the grill On the grill 21 min later, done
  3. I received the new foam gun this week and used it this morning. It's a great tool and produces more foam/suds than I expected. I usually use a foam cannon but it's so inconvenient for me and it usually takes me 3 hours to wash/clean one of my vehicles; doesn't matter what size it is. Well, this foam gun cut an hour off my wash/clean time which I really appreciate. Oh, and the spray nozzle is probably one of the best ones I've ever used. I'll be using it again tomorrow to wash my Yukon XL. Great product.
  4. You could cover the headlights in a protective film like XPEL ultimate. It will hide the scratches and protect the headlights from rock damage. I have XPEL on the entire front end of my 16 Yukon XL.
  5. If you haven't noticed my name "Weber Dude", I love Webers. I have 3 old Weber gassers, a Smokey Mountain, mini Weber smoker, 2 performers (1-gen2, & 1-SS), Smokey Joe, Jumbo Joe, 5 22" kettles, and 1 26" flattop kettle. You can smoke/grill anything on your standard 22" kettle. They're light and easy to move around and transport. I love charcoal cooking but I do use the gassers on occasion. You can find them on craigslist for free or very cheap. The old gassers are tanks and, IMO, better built than the new ones and easily rebuildable. All of my kettles are old, ranging from 1974-2000.
  6. Thanks all for the guidance. The swirls are from the dealer but these random scratches in spots that go every direction like someone was scrubbing on it, I feel, is from the clay bar being used. But whatever. I'm going to fix it to my liking. Because of the color, it's very hard to see any of this with out the proper lighting. Now I just need it to stop raining so I can start the process.
  7. So, I need to get the swirls and light scratches (caused by a clay bar) out of my new 2016 Summit White Yukon XL. Here's the wash history: -delivered to the delearship and they ran it through their car wash. -when I picked it up from the dealership a couple days later, I noticed it was covered in some crazy rail dust. -a couple days later I did a 2 bucket wash and couldn't figure out to get the rail dust off. -back at the dealership to have my wheels swapped and they ran it through their car wash again without asking. -Contacted a detailer to remove the rail dust and seal. A few days later this was completed. It was an overcast day. The "detailer" washed, blew dried, clayed, then sealed. It took all day and was dark out when he finished. It all looked perfect. - 2 days later when the sun came out I saw all the swirls. Later that night when I pulled it in the garage, sun was setting, I saw areas of light scratches. It looks like those were caused by the clay bar. Sorry for the long history. Anyways, my question is how I should start the paint correction process. Do I need to strip the sealer before beginning? Since the swirls and scratches are so light, where should I start. I just received Adam's paint correction Cyclo kit so you know what I have to start with. Thanks.
  8. I wish I would have seen this vid before I had a "detailer" clean all the rail dust off my Summit White 2016 Yukon XL. Nice vid.
  9. Yep, I really like that cinnamon air freshener I received with some other products I ordered a couple weeks ago. I put it in my 2016 Yukon XL. Much better than the new car smell IMO.
  10. Here to learn. I've always kept my cars clean but never knew the proper way to do it. I really enjoy cleaning my vehicles. People think I'm crazy, but I don't care. Now I'm really serious about learning proper technique. I ordered the Adam's paint correction cyclo kit earlier today. Can't wait to use it.
