  1. Welcome John!Congrats on the new ride
  2. Yeah I thought it smelled like a dead skunk dipped in grape kool aid.Awesome stuff though.
  3. Welcome Pat! The truck forum is where I first learned about Adams too.Feel free to ask any questions you have.An amazing supportive group of people here.
  4. This has happened to every factory alum. wheel I've ever had.Any damage to the coating that lets oxygen and moisture contact the aluminum starts oxidation that eventually pops the clear off the surface.Pretty typical in the northeast.
  5. Welcome Laura! You came to the right place.Another vote for goo-gone(test an inconspicuous area first if possible though)
  6. I actually prefer to spray the product onto my wet towel and then spread it on.occasionally wringing out the excess water. Doing this just helps me control where the G+G ends up vs. spraying. It sounds like you may be using a bit to much product, there is a slight learning curve to find what works best for you.
  7. That is a great example of why you don't pass trucks on the right.I almost did this to a small car that squeezed between my right side and a guardrail some years back.I never saw them until they popped out in front of me.They had no clue how close they came to dying.
  8. Try re wetting with the soap suds it seams to do the trick.Unless you've already tried it.
  9. I used to wash and rinse a section at a time and raced against time trying to finish and dry. Now I do like the video and wash my whole truck and then rinse but with one change.First I only do this in the shade but what works for me is before rinsing I re wet the vehicle with the suds left in my wash bucket.I just sort of sling the soapy water off my wash pad over the whole truck and then rinse I know, sounds weird but it works for me.I just received a foam gun and it should make it super easy to do the same thing. My full size truck is a lot of real estate and it's black.A lot of soap ends up drying before I'm done but so far it rinses off perfect every time.
  10. Great timing I was just about to search to see if the wash pad could handle going through the washer. Thanks for the info.
  11. How about a few "wild card " boxes that include a gift certificate in addition to the regular contents. For MBs in general making the contents more random would be good.Example:people that buy 2 get the same thing ,people that buy 3 get the same etc. etc.I know others have mentioned this already just my .02c
  12. Carpenter,wood worker/cabinet maker,metal fabricator,welder and crane operator.
