So for the past 3 years, I’ve been using the Porter Cable polisher. It’s been a great little polisher, but I’m considering getting a Swirl Killer. So do you guys think that it is worth the upgrade, or should I just stick with what I got?
I think it would be neat to see how different products are bottled, packaged, and so on. I love the show, How It’s Made, so seeing how things come together at Adam’s would interest me.
I brought this same topic up to Dan@Adams a few months back. He strongly advised to use waterless wash on ceramics rather than the matte detail spray for wipe downs.
So to make a long story short, a friend of mine posted on Facebook that she really needed her son’s car seat detailed and wanted to know if anyone could do that. So being the Adam’s fanatic that I am, I said that I could do it.
I did it and and the results were just awesome. Now I have several people in my area asking me to detail their car seat. Who knew that this could be a thing?
So I spoke with Dan@Adams on this matter. He advised that the best option would be waterless wash. He said that both detail spray and matte detail spray add some protection and would affect the hydrophobic properties somewhat.
Thanks again to Dan!
I have fully ceramic coated my truck and my wife's SUV. I absolutely love it so far. My question is, when there is light dust on the vehicles, would it be better to use detail spray or matte detail spray?
I coated my wife's white GMC Acadia last month. I did have a difficult time seeing the rainbow flash. I found that using the swirl finder flashlight, I was able to see it better.
