  1. So, this and other posts you've made have me thinking...and drooling a little, as always...maybe you could you make some Adam's themed cupcakes/goodies for a future detail clinic or event (one that I'm at, of course )? Think of all the flavors...HGG/grape, WW/sour apple, Throwback CS/cherry, etc., etc. You could even mix some flavors in the batter and icing, sort of like a tribute to products used in detailing sessions. Just don't ever use WC as a flavor. Whatcha think????
  2. Good stuff! And sounds like more to come with the reference to a "fun week ahead!"
  3. Agreed, both are great at getting the wheels and tires clean. Good video. One quick note...I did notice what looked like steam coming off the wheels (around 0:40) after you sprayed them with water. If they were warm, like you had just driven, be sure to let them cool next time before using the WC.
  4. I wouldn't know a glazed almond from a frosted eggplant, so don't worry.
  5. Sounds like a perfect excuse to go back and enjoy some samples for lunch today.
  6. It's glazed almond. Dan announced it here when it was released. Smell good?
  7. Scary, but glad all is well. I had an irregular mole removed from my chest when I was in grade school for fear it was cancerous...doctor really scared me and my parents when removing it. Went so far as to say he/the blade would "cut my neck" if I didn't hold still. Can't believe he'd tell a kid that, or really anyone, for that matter.
  8. Hope you're feeling better, Rich. Stitches are no fun.
  9. Not sure about the cause of the static, but probably has to do with humidity, etc. I don't put mine in the dryer at all, just air dry, but that's a personal preference. As for the dryer sheets - NO! Do not use any fabric softener, sheets or liquid. Here's more on caring for the MF towels:
  10. Welcome, Kristian! Love the car and color!
  11. Don't keep HGG and TRC side by side. HGG does not clean tires very well at all.
  12. More good advice in this post/video, namely what to cover, if anything: And one more video, just in case:
  13. Whoa...back up. 7 car garage???!!! Nice job on the truck!
  14. Oops...missed your profile pic...and forum name...and probably several other clues...my bad! Lots of Vette owners on here, so I'm sure you'll get some helpful responses.
  15. Welcome, Ryan! Get some BG, if you haven't already, and apply it last after you detail. Then watch that blue really shine!!
  16. Unless it's shine, in many cases, less is more.
  17. Some cars/brakes are certainly worse than others. What do you drive? Perhaps someone else reading this has the same car/wheels or has worked in them before and can offer addition insight. Getting something on the wheels such as PS/HGG, and especially Wheel Coating, will help with cleanings. Do you have anything on them now?
  18. Not to add confusion, but if it doesn't get all that dirty...just dust, fingerprints, and the like...WW is amazing stuff, too (and it smells really good). Also note you can dilute RW 16:1 to make a waterless wash-like soution at a more economical price point.
  19. Man, this is cool. Really makes me consider a pressure washer and foam canon.
  20. Well done, Salvador! Keep up the great work, and be sure to post more pics along the way and/or when done.
  21. Mark me down for PS and HGG, too. When I'm not using a product that rhymes with (discontinued) Suick Quealant, that is . BTW, the lug but brush is another good tool to get into little nooks and crannies the wheel brush and woolie can't.
  22. Agreed with Chris. You might consider carrying some Waterless with you in the meantime to clean any bird droppings, etc.
