Really? Never thought about doing that. Are the results the same as undiluted? Are water spots a problem?

Not exactly a detail or wax question, but you guys might know the answer. I usually spray my weather stripping with silicone spray about twice a year (if I remember). I get completely opposing opinions on this practice... 1) Good, it will keep them from drying out. or 2) Never use that stuff. It will dry them out because it is petroleum based. OK, great. Now I don't have a clue what to do. I use VRT on the rubber parts of the car, but I'm more worried about keeping the weather stripping from cracking, not so much about the appearance. So VRT might not be my first choice. Since you guys have to deal with products (e.g. really chemicals) that have to be compatible with a car finish plastic parts, etc., what the real skinny on silicone spray? No guessing, just the facts, please!

Norm, Understand the concern about the Under Carriage Spray, but the 4x4 truck has a huge area to cover, so the stuff does tend to be used more than if I sprayed the Corvette or the wife's car.

I use a cheap leaf blower. Works great.

I'm with you...make it clear. Maybe have a pink label or pink sprayer so people know it's the detail spray?

I would like to see a bigger undercarriage spray bottle, the 16oz goes rather quick. For the other stuff, a better sprayer, something that does a better job of misting.

All the DC guys have already seen these before...

I got maybe one more weekend to snap some photos before I store it for the winter. I should get a better camera, the one I have really doesn't like anything but optimal conditions.
