  1. Hi All,

Just looking to gather the opinions of more experienced detailers on something i was thinking of doing.  My wife's truck 2011 Avalanche with around 110k miles on it has a filthy windshield.  Was thinking of doing a decon on it using a clay bar, but it's pretty pitted from all those highway miles..Do you guys think that particles of clay might get trapped in the pitting and two stone chips on the glass?  Should i use "extra" detail spray as lube to help prevent that?  Don't want to make it messier than it already is.  Thanks in advance...

  2. Hi Greg, is this only happening to he front windshield? Or all windows?

What I do I have a moisture control bag in my cars, one bag last years it is also self rejuvenating. You may need two do to the size of your car. Google moisture control bag for cars and they pop up. I use a certain brand but I don't want to catch grief for posting it.

    Good Luck

Its mostly the front window, unless the pooch is panting in the back on the rear... I'll see if I can find the moisture control bag.... if not, maybe the previous post of a kitty litter sock may help.... a sock might also raise some questions from friends in the car as well....lol

  3. Woo Hoo...MB's in the Great White North... I ordered one.. still shows as not shipped yet... waiting with anticipation of something I don't already have in my kit... last time I got the Odor Neutralizer in an MB and was very happy with how it killed the smell of a leaky beer can right before the holiday spot check program... may have saved me a few trips to the breathalyzer due to my car smelling like a brewery.

I do try to order from the .ca website as much as I can.. that extra $60-$70 charge from FedEx for brokerage is a killer!

  4. Hi All,

Every fall/winter, it seems my daily driver has an issue with the interior of the windows fogging up.  It's a newer car, 2013 Toyota Venza and only does this when it's parked outside.  If I garage part it overnight, no issues, only when left outside.  I have tried the Rain-X fog solution, with minimal to no difference in the fogging. My question is, would using the Glass Cleaner and Sealant help on the inside?  Not sure if the sealant is meant for inside of windshield as well as outside.

    Thanks

  5. I had an incident over the weekend when returning empty beer cans, one fell over and had some "swill" still in it... ugh.. car smelled like a brewery... coming into the Holiday Season with spot checks everywhere, thought this would be a good test of the ON.  Like others stated, pulled the trigger on the bottle maybe once too many times, but wow.. no old beer smell in my car and no need to explain to Officers why my car smells like beer.  Great product and good to remember not to use it excessively.  Next test will be when the wet stinky dog gets in the car after walks in the snow... she can get rank during the winter..so lets give this the ultimate test.  :)

  6. Hi All,

I have searched the forums and only found one thread on cleaning/protecting convertible tops, dating back to 2012.  The reply's stated that Adam's did not have a product for this and recommended RaggTopps cleaner and protection. Is this still the case, is Adam's coming out with any fabric soft top cleaners or protection?

    Thanks...

    Greg
