I can assure you that I am not stuck solely on how the recent departure of staff affects 'forum prescense'. In fact, I've said many time that there are plenty of Adam's 'representatives' on forums theses days. Unfortunately, some of them are not really qualifed to do so due to a lack of bonified industry experience. While Adam's has always been targeted to the DIY and enthusiast audiences, that is only one segment of this industry.
 
Am I concerned about the loss of Dylan, Mook, Chase and/or some of the other quality team members on this forum? Absolutely, but I'm more concerned about how the loss of this calibre of staff will affect the entire operation, not just the forum. As Adam himself said, they all wore multiple hats within the company so their loss is far-reaching and not limited to solely this or any other forum. Each of them made significant contribution to where Adam's Polishes is today, whether that be via a forum, at an event, or just by picking up the phone or responding to a customer in need. I'm not saying they can't be replaced, but from where I sit, you have a long way to go to fill those shoes that are no empty. That's reality, not drama.

Back on topic, yet another surprising subtraction from the lineup...interesting to say the least.

By all means I'm not bashing the new guys, they are trying I get it. But going back to the Fire Service... What would happen if I took all the Veteran and Seasoned Firefighters/Officers and replaced them all with guys fresh out of Fire Academy? What I'm saying is Experience goes along way.
 
A slow transition probably would have been better. But from that thread I was talking about from maybe a year ago... 75% of the people on that list have changed.

I couldn't agree more. Sure the products are the same but its not the same people backing them or there to support. 
 
Coming from the Fire Service and knowing what it's like when someone gets promoted, the respect and trust has to be earned. Dylan was here when I first started and at first was always the one to help me. After that Mook came along and it basically became a tag team of the two. Now POOF both gone and no one to trust because, frankly, I just have't seen it and it doesn't seem the same.
 
Really didn't want to say that but I've been holding it back for sometime now.
 
I see questions being answered but they are just answers they aren't in depth explanations like they used to be, if that makes sense. The people that have been around the past few years should know what I mean.

From the outside looking in, there are a lot of familiar and trusted faces no longer associated with the company. I'm not sure a wholesale exodus or 'prunning', whatever you want to call it, really encourages me to reach for my wallet anymore.

But when a few key people, who have always been the same ones that help with problems and about the only ones that ever had an answer and that are looked up to just disappear... Its kind of a downer and creates some speculation/realization.
 
I don't have a problem with change but when a lot of big changes happen at once it makes you stop and take a step back and wonder hmmm.

OK, at one time you had Mario and Chase.  Are they not part of Adams anymore?  I don't see anything from them anymore.  I think it should be a company policy that ALL new Adams peeps jump on here and introduce themselves to the best customers Adams has!

I personally don't mind some change.  It shakes things up and brings in new ideas.  

So I've been wondering lately... With Dylan leaving and other changes in the company... Could we possibly get a run down of who is doing what now and maybe a face to the names? I know there used to be a thread like that but I can't find it anywhere.

Just wanted to say thanks to eric@thompsonracing for getting my order out very, very quickly.

I have a bunch in stock, just sold a few.  I put them back on sale.  Great nozzles.  My local Snap-On guy buys them from me because his customers constantly ask for a durable nozzle.  I have one at my house and one at our shop.  They are fantastic even in the garden!

FYI, I put a Buy In Bulk discount to offer volume pricing on top of the sale!!

I rinseless washed the G8 GT during lunch hour. Took me 25 minutes to do paint and glass. Tomorrow the wheels, arches and tires get cleaned follow by an interior cleaning.

Note I have not been told these weights by Adams but I buy the exact same towels from another manufacturer who posts the towel weights and blends on their site.

I was just curious what the weight of the Double Soft and Single Soft towels were. Does anyone know?
 
I was also wondering about the Waterless Wash waffle-weave towel and the Great White Drying Towel, are those both the same weight but one bigger than the other or are they two completely different towels?
