  1. I've had this happen a few times now as well. The last ones that came were actually pristine, but were an add on to the order so they shipped in an envelope. I'm hoping the ones I just ordered and are shipping now will be in an envelope as well.
  2. As someone who moved from Pennsylvania to Georgia 3 years ago, I couldn't agree with you more!! In PA, it used to be prepping the car and making sure it has a good coat of wax and sealant. Now it's simply business as usual! I sure don't miss the road salt and brine that they use up north.
  3. And I literally just placed an order last night because I didn't think they would get restocked. Bummer...
  4. I'm doubtful, but it could happen. I think I saw someone posted on the Facebook group that they would be restocked at some point, but there was no time frame given. I'm hoping they are re-stocked because I'd love to grab a couple of them.
  5. I have heard before that they are only sending mints/stickers with regular purchases, no mystery box/bucket or discount sales. Not sure how true that is, but I have yet to receive any mints with my orders and all my orders have been during 15% off sales or Mystery Buckets/Boxes.
  6. Welcome to the Forum and Thank You for your service! Let's see some pictures of those clean rides!!
  7. Thanks! Great looking Alltrack, that red really pops! Loving the brushed chrome mirror caps!
  8. I'd have to say ECO APC. Yeah, it's supposed to be an all purpose cleaner, but it does such a great job cleaning everything. I'll use a diluted portion on microfibers and orbital pads when washing them. I've even used some to help clean wheels while out of wheel cleaner. It's definitely a versatile product.
  9. I thank you made a great call on Grace! Not to mention, that white would have been rough to keep looking as good!
  10. Welcome to the addiction! That's a clean looking M5. There is one in my building where I work and I love that color, pictures just don't do it justice!
  11. Welcome Trent! Good looking Honda!
  12. That's a weekend of work right there, but I know that will be worth it. I've never used a clay mitt, always went the clay bar route, but I've heard they make quick work of the big body panels. Maybe it's my OCD, but I can't understand how people spend all their hard earned money on a car and then don't spend a few hours here and there keeping it nice and clean. That CC will be sharp looking once you're done!
  13. Hey Carol welcome to the detailing addiction and congrats on the new car! As someone who has owned darker color vehicles, they can be a bit more difficult to keep clean, but not impossible. The biggest thing is the two bucket wash method and a good wash mitt - this will help stop scratches and swirls forming in the clear coat and giving that spider web look in sunlight. Also a good last step product for shine and protection is a must. I recommend the ceramic boost or H20 Guard & Gloss.
  14. Thanks for all the love guys! The R was definitely a dream of mine for a long time. Now that it's a reality, I need to keep it looking the best. Love the GTI vdub! I had a 2013 that I traded for my R, but I miss that car alot. Thanks for the heads up on the strip wash! I'll need to pick some of that up on my next order. I want to keep the deep shine for as long as possible. Thanks ObsessedDetailer! It was my dream car for a long time but now I need to keep it looking brand new... easier said then done LOL
  15. That's a clean looking CC, very sharp!! Ahh I feel your pain, I was lucky enough to have some time earlier in the summer to do a paint correction. But now that I have some paint sealant I have a feeling I'll be going through the whole process again just because I tend to be OCD. LOL
  16. Thanks for the great info Tyler! It sounds like it's best to treat the paint sealant like a wax and remove it as soon as it hazes. I'll definitely keep the ceramic boost trick in mind in case I run into any removal issues.
  17. Thanks for the info! That's good to know. I think I'm going to give the paint sealant a try this weekend.
  18. Welcome! You're going to be fully addicted in no time! I was hooked after my first order.
  19. I got paint sealant in my last mystery bucket, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Do you do anything special with it? I've heard of people letting that sit on the car for a couple hours to fully "bond" but I don't know if that's truly needed.
  20. Thank you! I will agree, the buttery wax could definitely last longer. Right now I'm alternating between Ceramic Boost 1.0 & HGG. It seems like the Guard & Gloss is easier to work with.
  21. Got my first taste of Adam's products a few months ago with one of their Mystery Box purchases and I've been hooked since! Any VW fans on here? What are you using for a last step to really give the car a shine?
