  1. Well I put my order in.  Going to do a strip wash, clay bar and re apply the CPW.  I am trying the ceramic windshield kit and undercarriage spray.  Got 15% off, free shipping and got a free bottle of interior detailer thrown in for free.

Great write up Ray.  The truck looks mint.  I’m a little nervous to try so I decided to stick with what’s been working.

    Thanks for the advice!

  2. So I bought my truck new in march and used Adams products on the truck since the day I took it home.  First thing I did was clay bar and apply ceramic paste wax. I wash with car shampoo and rinseless mixed.  Then every other week I apply ceramic boost after the wash.  I have been extremely happy with the results and hydrophobic properties are still top notch.  I had my M2 coated by a shop and was not impressed with the results. I went with the ceramic paste wax because I liked the idea of a wax with hydrophobic properties.   As winter approaches I am wondering if I need to do anything before winter.  Today I went to re order some stuff and saw the winter prep and the new ceramic sprayable coating.  Would it be worth me going this route?  Would I need to do a strip wash to get the remainder of the paste wax off before applying?  Could I do the surface prep and coat it as is?  Am I better off doing another coat of ceramic paste wax and continuing my routine?

I appreciate any advice and would like to get the best prep for the winter while the weather is still good.  I attached a picture of my ride.

    Thanks,

    CJ

  3. New to the forum, started with the Adams basic wash kit last spring.  Hope to learn more about detailing to keep my car looking good.  I have a 2017 M2 that I got ceramic coated last fall.  I just order Adams ceramic paste wax and ceramic boost.  I am looking forward to winter ending!
