  1. SSleeper this is a Corvette only event. Only Corvette's can park on the field. There is a Chevrolet show earlier in the year. I thought they had a GM show too, They may have changed the name.
  2. If things were better I would get this small project done. I don't have a garage, electricity or water where I park. I do have nosey neighbors. It's hot out today. Thanks for the video, I am surprised how much water Dylan used to spray the engine. I did clean it up a bit. I used 50% strength AAPC with a paint brush. I wiped it off with water. It does look better. I did not remove the coil packs to get into all the areas. Thanks for all your suggestions.
  3. I hope to tackle it fully this week. I will use a old paint brush to get into the areas. I wish I had more room to dry up the seepage first. I tried to get into the area with a paper towel. Do I have to rinse off the APC ? I plan to use it 50% since I don't have much left.
  4. Thanks for all the suggestions. I did try a small spot. I see that it is leaking more, so It's off to the dealer to get checked out in the next few weeks. I will clean it up better then, if they don't do it. I did stop by the tent at C at C. yesterday. it was too busy
  5. I went to get the APC out of the closet and saw it was leaking. I now have much less than I thought. I moved it to another container. I hope to try it this week
  6. Thanks everyone, I will try it. I thought full strength might be a problem.
  7. I am cleaning a 2014 Focus, There is some oil on top of the engine by the coil packs where the spark plugs are located. It's just behind the filler neck area. I am not sure if it's a spill from the oil change or a leak. The area looks like plastic and the oil has seeped into a lot of cavities. Would your all purpose cleaner be best for this and at what strength? I am looking to use a small brush to get into the area. Any suggestions are helpfull ! Thanks
  8. Dylan , I have the Revive Polish. I remember seeing Adam using Revive and SHR Would this work in this order ? Revive Revive/SHR, 2:1 ratio SHR Thanks
  9. I have some older Adams polish and swirl/haze remover and a cordless drill. My spoiler has some water spots and is a little dull. I want to try to bring it back a little. I tried clay and working it by hand. Would the polish be worth trying since I believe it less abrasive. 2001 GM factory paint. Thanks
  10. From what I can tell on AJ's video, the pads must be kept flat. My Pontiac headlights have pins in the lens, so I can not cover the lens in one pass side to side, up/down. Would the 4" pads work for me? here is a so-so pic. from the testing section http://adamsforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2799
  11. Nice pics, Thanks. I was hoping to make it this year. Plans changed. I wanted to meet a few of you, and get a few things. pgp
  12. I was shocked at this news too! Sad to go so young. Did anyone notice that he is in a Bently in the drive thru video.
  13. I have some water etching on my plastic painted spoiler. I was going to buy these pads for that and my headlights. Now, I am not too sure about using them on the paint with a drill, no PC here.

    Car alarm.....

Go with something made by DEI,-Directed electronics inc. they make Viper, Clifford, Python, Hornet, and several others. I have a Hornet system in my car. The most important thing is the install. Ask around, and buy it from the place that is doing the install. (very important) this forum has some good information: http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/1253953/page/1#Post1253953
  15. I have A 2001 Grand Prix GT. I have had it since 2002, very nice car. I have a pic in the test section. Let me see if I can find some more.

  18. I will get some soon. I just tried it, it seems ok , looks good. I have to learn how to post a pic.
  19. I think that is what happened, it was in the trunk for a while. I remember trying to pour some into a smaller bottle and it did not pour very well. I might have messed it up then if it was not mixed well. I am glad it's almost empty.
  20. Does Buttery Wax separate? I have some that looks like it did. When I turn it over, it leaves stuff on the bottom of bottle. It's an older bottle and might have been exposed to extremes in temperature.
  21. good to hear he is doing better, I would contact the police about the missing supplies.
  22. I agree, the web site information does not mention all of the uses for these two products. I got confused after reading some of these posts. Still learning
  23. Do you have any more pictures of the pads? Will they come in all types? Can they be used on any drill? Thanks
  24. I live in a place that does not have close parking. That's why I need a cordless drill. I did not think any cordless drill would work, thats why I asked. It's also the reason I don't have a PC. They don't have a cordless PC do they, or something similar? Chewy- what are the main limitations of the 3/8 chuck? Thanks -pgp
  25. Would any cordless drill work, or do you need a heavy duty one ? I don't have one, make/model #'s appreciated. Thanks -pgp
