The Sidekick will make you feel like you were blowing the water off with your mouth after you try the Master Blaster. Like a hurricane compared to a light breeze! Really cannot compare the two in all honesty.

For a while now I have been looking forward to having air conditioning in my garage. It is just too darn hot in my garage most of the year and not very motivating to go out and work on a vehicle. Well yesterday my wish came to fruition and a mini-split system was installed in my garage. Only took about 4-hours to install. I have an insulated garage door and I added insulation in the attic over the garage area. In about 2-hours in the 90 degree plus heat the garage was cooler than the house! Now I don't have to sweat to death while working in the garage [/img]

My experience in terms of electrical problems and problems in general has been very positive. I think older Audi's were plagued with issues like you mention, but the current generation has been very good to me. I have only dealt with very minor issues that have not been widespread and I have a very good dealer I use that takes care of everything quite well. Once you experience this level of service from a top notch dealer it is hard for me to think of going back to some of the current manufacturers lame excuse for customer satisfaction.

The S4 was a blast and the 2013 is even nicer than my 2011 was. Really well balanced between performance and daily driveability. Car has more torque than horsepower, so accelerates effotlessly and Audi underrates the numbers a bit from what is published. 0-60 is about 4.8 sec. Paint was very hard, but my car was flawless when I received it as it was ordered for me. So I never had to do much correction fortunately. Mileage is very respectable given the vehicles performance. One thing to note is that the car is very tempting to do an ECU tune on as it really adds quite a bit of HP. The boost is reduced by the factory tune only at highr rpms, by tuning it the boost pressure does not diminish throughout the range. The only problem is that Audi is cracking down on modified ECU's and flagging them in the system. So as soon as the dealer is connected to the car's diagnostics if modified the car is flagged and registered as such with Audi. The dealer has no control over this and could have an impact on warranty claims if they should arise related to the powertrain. I was having my wife's Q7 serviced on Friday and thay had a brand new RS-5 in the service lane for a few minutes. Now that is one awesome machine! But the price is a bit more awesome than I can handle too

I cannot imagine life without one! There are so many areas you cannot dry well without the MB not to mention how quickly it dries the entire vehicle without ever touching it with a towel.

I have owned six Audi's and have loved all of them so I am a bit biased. 2001 Allroad, 2008 A4 Avant, 2010 Q5, 2011 S4, 2012 Q7, 2013 A6. Audi represents a better value than comparable German brands and I have done pretty good with re-sale value in the last few years. If you want to stay with a wagon, albeit smaller than your last car, check out the new Allroad which is based on the A4. I think they did a very nice job with it. My current A6 has the 3.0 supercharged motor and is the Prestigue model with the 20" sport package and L.E.D headlights. An amazing vehicle that blows away anything I have ever owned. If you do purchase an Audi I do recommend buying the Audi Care. It is a reasonable price, especially compared to MB, and will cover your scheduled maintenance for the first 50k miles. I would advise you to use up what you already spent money on first as these products will not cause any harm. Then when you are ready switch over to Adam's when the time is right. This will allow you to continue to build your arsenal of Adam's product while not being redundant on product categories you recently purchased.

It also depends on the type of vehicle you are working on and the type of polishing being performed. If you are doing compounding to remove heavy defects a smaller work area will typically lead to better results. While if only polishing out light defects like minor swirls you may be able to work bigger sections and still achieve the desired results. Typically the rule of thumb I follow is to try not to work much wider than shoulders width as that will allow you to work within the effective range of your body. So often a 2x2 to 3x3 area is a common standard. The vehicle or surface you are working on also dictates the working area to a certain extent as well. A lot of large flat surfaces are easier to define a given working area, however on most vehicles this is not the norm. There are many curves, body lines and smaller areas that should be navigated on a vehicle by vehicle basis. I generally do a quick mental evaluation of each panel before tackling the area. Break it up into reasonable areas for section passes and then address smaller or unique spaces with smaller pads as needed.

The Rupes LHR 15 and LHR 21 differ from the Flex 3401 as they are not forced rotation. They function as a traditional dual action random orbital polisher, but with a significantly increased throw or orbit range. So where a traditional dual action polisher has a throw of 4 to 8 mm the Rupes each are 15 and 21 mm respectively. Each machine is the smoothest operating I have used of its type to date. There is no vibration and the machine does not require much downward pressure to achieve flawless correction results. The balance and precision makes using these machines very rewarding when polishing an entire vehicle as there is very little user fatigue and the large orbit cuts down the working time compared to a traditional D/A. The 3401 is the correction king and capable of doing everything the Rupes can do, but they both get you there in a different way. A lot of it comes down to personal preference and what you are working on.

Depending on the electrical requirements one panel is not always enough to accommodate everything. I have a small house and my panel is now completely full.

I used the Deep wheel cleaner today for the first time. Truly outstanding in all regards. Cleaning ability is top notch and thankfully the smell is tolerable! The one thing I noticed that really sets this one apart from others is the way it clings to the wheel so well and does not run off quickly. I found that I used less product, but the end result was extremely clean and shiny wheels.
