I always thought the 36 oz bottles were kind of awkward to use with spray products. It never happened, but it just felt like the bottles were going to snap at the neck. Most other quart-sized bottles (yes I know 36 oz isn't really a quart) taper up to the neck instead of being pretty much a cylinder. It was fine for things like Car Shampoo, but even though I got the 36 oz bottles for most products I ended up transferring my most used liquids to Mercury Pro+ bottles.

Given the price difference of the Flex, or lack thereof, I wonder if a lot of people will just buy that instead.

I think this ties in with the thread Dylan started about the terrible details you see on the cars on TV. What most people call "shiny" may very well have a ton of swirls or holograms. Unless you point it out to them or compare it with a properly detailed finish side by side, most people will never see the difference. Ignorance is bliss.

I think it's funny that not once has the person in question been mentioned by name, yet EVERYONE already knew exactly who was being talked about. Goes to show the impression they left behind.

If you're on a limited budget, just use up what you have before buying anything new. Just because there's a new product out doesn't mean your existing ones suddenly stopped working. If you really need more green pads now, I'm sure there are some dealers out there that would love to get rid of their old stock. If you can't find more though and your current pads wear out before using up the Severe Swirl Remover that you have, then you could just use it with the orange pads. Would it be ideal? No, but it would still work. I think it's great that Adam's simplifies everything with the color coding, but it makes some people think that other combinations aren't possible. Yes APC will clean the new pads. Just clean them the same way as the old ones. Just buy what you can afford and don't feel the need to purchase all the new stuff if it's not financially viable for you.

Brilliant Glaze can still be applied by hand. The red pads are just an option for those that want to apply by a machine. When Adam's came out with their newest generation of machine pads, they came out with a design that works on both the PC and Flex, so that is why you see only one style. Deep Wheel Cleaner is really only needed on wheels that have stubborn metallic brake dust. For regular maintenance, the Green Wheel Cleaner or APC is sufficient.
