  1. Adam, My friend Al Baum and I plan to get to Grabiak's about 7 o'clock Saturday morning or so to help out with any set up or whatever go-fer activities you and Ray might have need of but will see you Friday night in time for chow. I warn you I only eat one meal a day. Don't remember (age) if you placed a time to get to the restaurant. Do you have an address for the restaurant? See you then. Rad
  2. Good idea McDuff. I'm not sure how to accomplish that list but I will be there. BTW used to teach school in Chardon can't remember the name of the school but I think it was Mendon Elementary down on 44 and 322 and lived in Grand River. Wow was that a place to party. Glad I survived it. Looking forward to meeting you.
  3. Guys and girls, I just found an exhaustive discussion of the care and feeding of interior leather at Detailingbliss.com Detailing School. Adam it seems as though water based cleaners and conditioners are the best to use. What is your take?
  4. Hey Rich I don't remember those days as they must have been before my time. Stories from Sam Grabiak suggest that they were nothing short of exciting. That is stories of 435 HP 427s coming around the corner from 981 onto US22 sideways in a four wheel drift. Those were the good old days.
  5. No I didn't Rich. Wow this detailing nonsense is getting pricy eh? Gotta get ready for 4/25/09 though.
  6. Yes Rich, Ray has the PC and a supply of Gen I and II pads and the PC looks like:pc: Rad
  7. Adam how does that 1/3 mixture work in a used sample detail spray bottle?
  8. Yeah TN90-ZR1 true but those C4s wheel wells are alot easier to get to and clean.
  9. Hey Rick maybe you could make it to the Grabiak Detail Clinic on 4/25/09 and stock up there AND talk to The Man himself.
  10. Hey Adam go for it. I'm about to order. Vette wheels are a B-itch especially the Z06s to clean. Ought to please the ZR1 boys as well. Maybe you could have them for the Grabiak Clinic (Hint) (Hint) (Hint).
  11. I would lkie to try that as well and then use it almost as In-Out Spray and wipe with a detail sponge. Also need suggestions on getting frame areas to clean where can't reach with detail sponge or use in-out because of the size of the can. Perhaps use in a small sample spray bottle.:help:
  12. All due respect to Adam and the product, the best by far I have used in restoration or preservation of convertible tops is Hartz Ragg Top cleaner and preserver. It is recommended for care of Corvette convewrtible tops and I'm sure the Sky top would be similar. BTW are you coming to the Adams Clinic at Grabiak Performance Center in New Alexandria, PA? You could get some there.
  13. Actually Nitelord, Westmoreland Mall on US30 east of Greensburg is a rather nice place to shop. There is a shortcut on US 119 that will take you to Sheetz in Greensburg.
  14. Nitelord, how do they do at Sheetz as that is just about it except for the clinic and roast beef sandwichs.
  15. Rich, 4 dogs for $2, can't beat that. Had three for lunch:lol: BTW they creat the market here as well.
  16. Hey Rich, Both Blairsville and New Alexandria have Sheetz convenience stores. Now what more could a body want?
  17. Adam I hope you will demonstrate proper application of your new products for clear bra protection preferably with use of the PC. Now if we could only get some warm weather and signs of spring here it would make the wait for the clinic more tolerable.
  18. When you can't wait for a Adams Detail Clinic near you. Keep thinking Grabiak Performance Center New Alexandria PA 4/25/09:party:
  19. Whoa Adam that is one wild poster you have placed at the beginning of the thread. Looks great indeed. Still can't wait for the clinic but...I sure wish global warming would kick in as we are freezing here in W. PA. BTW I imagine Rich is in worse shape than we are. Rad:lol:
  20. New Alexandria should be relatively easy from Allentown unfortunately it is at the other end of the state. It is right on US22 about 35 miles east of Pittsburgh. Hope this helps Rad:hi:
  21. Adam, I'm ready to start all over again provided we could get some of this "Global Warming" so I could sufficiently unfreeze enough to break out the PC and Gen. 2s. Can't wait for April 24th-25th.
  22. Rich, 100% agreed re: the weather. We do need to get our toys out. I wonder if 73VetteGirl will be traveling after all New Alexandria is handy to the PA Turnpike. BTW I do believe you are two mountains away i.e. Chestnut Ridge and Laurel Mtn.
  23. Rich US22 is a good question. Unfortunately it is pretty well torn up between Blairsville and New Alexandria but it is doable. Traffic is by and large one lane both ways but it keeps moving at 40 mph or better.
  24. Man Adam seeins as how I'm a natural born mooch, I'll see you at dinner. BTW Blairsville is about 8 miles east of Grabiak. Rad:lolsmack:
