  1. I'm in the processes of polishing up my exhaust setup however I have run into 1 issue, the tips have road grime and buildup on them. I am sanding the pipes of the exhaust for a mirror like finish but the tips are now going to be the eyesore with road grime and other grit/grime. The exhaust is stainless but the tips should be chrome I would guess. What would be a good method to get build up off without scratching the finish? Maybe some fine steel wool?
  2. What does everyone use to apply brilliant glaze? Yellow ap?
  3. Also the slab should be thick enough in 1 area to put a lift for future use. It can be a small portion of the slab too not just the while thing but it does have to be fairly deep. +1 on the drain and might consider a utility sink/bathroom as well to clean up before heading back into the house.
  4. Rut Roh Deeetroit! Kung Fu Panda brought his big boy bat to the game tonight!
  5. If the freak was the freak of last year I would go with the Giants but knowing that Verlander will pitch in at least 2 games in the series and possibly a 3rd if there is a game 7 its tough to not go with the Tigers simply based on him. Add in a triple crown winner and Fielder I think it will be a challenge for the Giants. Tigers bullpen would scare the heck out of me but I think they will prevail in 5.
  6. Giants pulled it out! Down 3-1 is pretty impressive but those Cards are going to be a force next year. Their young pitching is stupid good moving forward. World series starts on Wednesday evening!! Gotta give it a day to sink in before I make my prediction.
  7. Gotta ask how much a project typically costs. I see all the hand made pieces and work put into the car so I know it's not cheap. I'd love to bring one of our family's cars to someone for work on it just no money tree in the backyard.
  8. The Yankees season reminds me of a team from just last year.. The Red Sox. Granted the Yankees got into the playoffs it took Jeter and Ibanez to hold that team together and after that they ran into a much better team. I wish we could go back and get a 7 game series of the Tigers and A's because I'm not so sure the Tigers would be here in that scenerio. I really do not want to see the Cards in the ws again, or the giants for that matter..
  9. No more Yankees after tonight.. Just ran into a better, younger team in the Tigers. I wonder how this series would be if the Granderson trade had never been made. Austin Jackson is close to Granderson in most categories and I believe I heard Max Scherzer was in that trade as well.
  10. Frosted Flakes coming to bat in Detroit tonight?
  11. Actually Dylan I did have one of these and used it after I saw a post a while back about it. I don't have the need for using coin ops at the moment so it slipped my mind!
  12. Exactly. I wouldn't do it Friday after work or at any time Sunday or Saturday and expect the owner to be happy about it. Yes, you are a paying customer but taking up a spot at his business. I did this same thing when living in an apartment and it worked well. I would use Adams shampoo too. Only tough thing can be the pooling method of drying with the coin op.
  13. Fracking operation? Didn't even have to see the title of the thread, just had to see the vast flatness of nothing to know it was west texas
  14. I absolutely love it on wheels. That with brilliant glaze along with buttery on top is a sure way to melt faces.
  15. I'd love to have a 5 gallon of waterless wash and detail spray. For me however at this point I do not have a great place for them to go inside the house so they would not be in my best interests. I go trough about a gallon of each each year so it might be a bit overkill for me.

    Looking for input

    Vossen concave wheels= pure awesomeness.
  17. You have your ways I have mine for whatever reason I have more water on my car after washing so I choose to use a dry towel vs a damp towel that I have to go back over with detail spray and a microfiber. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong but it works for me
  18. If it wasn't for the Card's I would of had all of the picks correct. They really do have a great attitude and swagger when they play. Glad to see Beltran is back to where he was a long time ago. Their farm system has always been one of the better ones and they develop their own players. Moving forward I will take the Tigers over the Yankees in 6 and I'll take the Giants over the Cards in 7. Can't wait to see the NL series!
  19. Wow Cards have come from nowhere tonight. Simply unbelievable what's going on in baseball right now.
  20. I use multiple towels to be cautious of anything that may have been missed. If I have 3 towels to use why not use them? I think I could use 1 towel as well but the lower portion of the car and the rear of the car gets dirty quick so it makes sense to me to have a dedicated towel for this portion.
  21. In order for the pool rinsing method to work as it does in the videos the car will need a good coat of wax still. After the pool method spray the car down with detail spray to aid in the drying process. If you have a blower and choose to get in the cracks this is the time to bring it out. After that take the great white to the car. I use at least 2 on my car (mustang) just as the wash pads; 1 for the upper portion of the car and 1 for the lowest. Hope this helps!
  22. Always loved Prowlers. I just wish they had a bit more power under the hood. Fantastic job on the Flex work as usual.
  23. Those ranjuh fans still holding out hope it looks like... They are beyond the coldest team coming into this thing and from previous seasons that spells disaster. Also their clubhouse seems to be very rocky to say the least.
