  1. Awesome! That's cool. And another Sin City fan of Adam's.
  2. Very nice indeed. Have they done anything about the heat on the interior? I test drove one a while ago and I ended up sweating like I was in a sauna. Your ride looks great by the way!
  3. I wanna see the interior. I love the Viper seats. If I could put them in my Z06 I might be tempted.
  4. Don't forget an antique gas pump. That garage does indeed kick butt.
  5. Junkman, Good stuff! I never really thought about that, but now that you write it, it makes sense. Thanks for the insight.
  6. What does it smell like? I don't have this product yet either.
  7. Goodiebags. I like the smell of that one.
  8. Customer service is why I'm here and not surfing a different site. I was on the fence between Adam's and a different product. I wrote to both companies to get an idea of recommendations for my cars. I got back one message, from Adam. He asked for my phone number and then we talked cars for about 45 minutes I think it was. He gave me advice on what to do with my corroded axle and underbody (2 trips across the Atlantic) and also explained how powder coating would be a viable option for my also corroded wheels. I can't imagine another company taking that much care for their customers there days. Adam and Co have found something in which they all have a passion for, and it shows in their products and service. In one phone call from the boss, he gained my loyalty as a customer for a long long time.
  9. You ain't gonna change the smell are you?
  10. Me too. Those come in very handy on the interior. In fact, alot of arts and craft stores have those misc items you can use to make detailing easier.
  11. Good god that truck looks great. You would have thought that you oiled it up or something.
  12. When your in Vegas, let me know. I can arrange that.
  13. Those lights that Adam posted about are great to use. When we remove engines from F-16's we use those lights in the engine bay to look for anything that may be broken or damaged. They provide excellent light. I have been shopping around to find one here to install in my garage as well.
  14. I myself am a Guinness man.
  15. It is a MN plate. While I'm a resident of MN, I'm stationed in NV. Only go back home for family stuff nowadays. Too cold for me there now.
  16. What model lift is that one?
  17. Thanks! They are both a pleasure to drive. Now I just need a new Camaro to finish the trifecta.
  18. I thought I read in either Car and Driver or Motor Trend that with the new Corvette ZR1, they developed new clear coat for the exposed carbon fiber parts. It read that it costs over $10K a gallon for this paint, and they noted the yellowing qualities of the carbon fiber clear coats. Not sure about it either, but I too am looking into a few composite pieces for my ride as well. Either way though, which what ever hood you get, I would say limited exposure to the sun and always having a good coat of wax on it is the key. I know the guy who does the bodywork for a race team and I'll ask him what his thoughts are and report back.
  19. Oddly enough, where I live, it really does! It also seems that I've turned into the neighborhood mechanic as well though.
  20. Is it possible to have it either way? I like the pink because on the yellow car it helps me make sure that I got it all removed. But I see the clear argument.
  21. I've detailed while wearing a kilt. I've also done some of those very same things listed. I've even run air through my driveway before detailing to get rid of any loose leaves from blowing into my garage once I've begun. Um, yeah, I'm probably the crazy neighbor...detailer.
  22. A friend of mine told me his trick that he used to do, although I cannot commit to how good it may or may not be to your paint. He would put three coats of wax on the front end of his '49 truck, then after buffing it out, would spray a light coat of Pam cooking spray on it. He swears by it, but I never tried it. Any thoughts on that are of course welcome to hear.
