    When using Foam pads Flex will cut faster then Rupes. But once you introduce microfiber pads I think Rupes gets the edge over Flex.

    Well said. I'm one of the one's that switched from Flex to Rupes, I find that Rupes cuts almost as well as Flex and on soft paint Rupes finishes down better then Flex. At least in my experience.

    I think it was a statment of cutting ability of Rupes with MF pads.

    I sure hope that this is the case. I have a Nissan GTR lined up for correction for the long weekend. This would be a great test for new polishes.

    Great post. I do mine a bit differently I like to Rinse>Foam>Rinse and Foam again. It's a bit of an overkill but less dirt on paint and more lubrication is the way to go IMO.

    I'd say check with your neighbors, quick call or just stop by and ask. I did that and haven't had any issues when we lived in a condo.

    Car forums and meets bring a lot of business. Business cards are also a good way to get the word out. After I detail someone’s car I usually give them few business cards in case anyone asks them where they got their car detailed.

    How about carpet/cloth seat protecting coating or spray.

    If you have a compressor, compressed air works very good with MF towels. Vac n Blow has an interior attachment kit that works or you can use a brushes.

    Up for sale is my 2 year old Flex. Haven't been using it as much lately mainly just for applying sealants. Still in great shape ~ 50 cars under it's belt.
