Back from Austin TX. last night. Great to be back up north where it is cloudy and gray. Texas sunny and warm @102-103F. Unpacked and ready to get back to daily life of a retiree.
Up at the crack of dawn 0730, made breakfast, pancakes. Listening to the oldies on 95.7. Harvested some jalapeƱos yum-yum. Off to lunch soon. Then just chill for the remainder of the day, get ready for another week, of retirement.
Up at 6:00 in the AM. Took my morning walk 8 city blocks, back home. Made the morning coffee, now wide awake and ready for my day. Checked out the car in the garage, looking good as always. Been here on the forums for a few minutes. Plan on enjoying the nice fall weather.
Rain and high humidity here in Gods country. So no playing with the car today at least outside. So washed a ton of Micro fiber towels and hung in the basement to dry.
Got the extra set of alloys out and gave them there first Adams polishing. Swirl and haze remover topped with buttery wax. Have a good LABOR DAY Holiday one and all.
Up at 6:45 AM
7:15 Breakfast
8:00 out for a walk all I can say is wow the heat and humidity are back, so a short walk.
Did a quick cleaning of the glass as I did spend the last two days detailing and the black paint is looking soooooo shinny and wet.
Spent most of the day right here on the PC and on the Adams sight also made another contribution to Adam, couldn't resist the Labor day special.
My first car was a 1955 chevy 2DR green 265 engine 2bbl carb. and paid $150.00 for it in 1963. Then a bunch of other GM cars and one S10 truck. Got what I really wanted to drive starting in 1989.
Fish oil who wooda guessed? I have a good supply of 1200 MG. soft jells in the house so is I ever get tree sap on the black paint I know what I'LL try first.
Sorry to see this happen Peter, did my screen and surrounding area with detail spray and came out looking like new. I'm sure someone will come up with a fix for you.
