  1. weird, ive worked over a few lexus is 09-10 and havent had that happen. I have had that problem once before though, had a bottle of swirl and haze level out and the abrasives all separated it seemed. Had the bottle replaced but it seemed that an unequal amount of abrasives were in each application. Was most likely my fault but in the end it got covered and ashley took care of it, very similar pictured to what happened to you. I would suggest going over again with fine machine/white pad a few passes and check you pad for anything in it. Otherwise what roshan said is a great idea, but that third picture from the bottom looks pretty rough so thats why Im thinking you need more perhaps.
  2. American made ftw, cept if I had my choice for American made it'd be this: Mach7 Motorsports I saw it a few years ago but spent part of the last auto show chatting with the guys there after he came over to our Ferrari booth, thing is beautiful.
  3. clean lookin SS man. Agree with mook, that color is just sick on those.
  4. if you do it, make sure to charge accordingly, I do boats but your amount of time can be insane if its a bad boat. That one looks very nice though, but as chris said all that is what I would recommend as well.
  5. I cant wait to see one in person, hopefully someone buys one gets one of the 499 from my dealership. Driven all the beauties in that video and even though I don't like the name, its a beautiful car and I think its gunna look unreal on the road.
  6. Think the ticking noise is more of a problem on the 5.7s, with almost 85k on my 6.1 still running like a champ and the day I got her (knock on wood of course). Now you wanna talk about ticking, I gave my sister my old 02 6.0 escalade and that thing ticks like insane, but just 500 miles shy of 200,000 miles I think its allowed to haha. I really wish they would make a Viper truck kinda thing again, or at least drop that 6.4 in like a new ram, I knew the Viper trucks were a bit of a bust but if youve ever seen one they are really cool, one guy comes out to our meets with his and its a beast. Just throwing my .02 in and +1 on all the ram truck guys, and throw up some pictures of yours. If I ever get a truck its gunna be a raptor, but a proper one actually worked up for offroading, or what I dream of the Super Chief haha supercharged V-10 goodness haha
  7. gotcha, performance wise what big things have you done? engine/suspension. or at least how it sat in that picture, know you said its changing.
  8. slick looking ride man. Cant leave us hangin' now on mods! list em out man! performance and styling.
  9. very sleek man, I've been thinking of a 328i though for my DD if I start building up my jeep. Also had a customer that picked up an 11' 1 Series M for his wife when I worked at Ferrari, drove it and it was pretty peppy I have to admit.
  10. Man as much as a canopy costs I'd recommend just investing in one. Ive done some polishing outside in Michigan, just not worth it in my opinion, make that initial investment and dont look back. If you get to do one persons car for them and charge them, there is the money you had into the canopy and you still have it. Max AP 10 ft. x 20 ft. White All Purpose 6-Leg Canopy-25757 at The Home Depot $100-250 and you can get a nice one, thats my .02 cause I hated working out in direct sun polishing, washing and other detailing is fine, polishing and compounding in the sun is just something you wanna avoid.
  11. Sick RS4 man, I thought about one when I was getting my SRT. Especially love the color, nice choice! welcome and glad you made it to the event in Co, nothing but great news
  12. detailing in the streets of brooklyn, love it! haha great clean up man, thats dedication folks.
  13. my bad, just didnt want him to ruin all his work he did. Thought since it was a product segment Adams had no stake in that it would be ok. lesson learned.
  14. gotcha, its a great choice for a more permanent solution. Its done great through michigan winter and has held up on my wheels with alot of highway driving behind salt trucks. Its a great way to finish off the process until Adams creates a better product of course . Yeah the headlight protectant is great for what it is. The only problem is many people have to apply twice a month for proper protection, durability seems to be an issue for most. I do recommend though using opti-coat and even topping with headlight protectant, people do that frequently with good results.
  15. Ahhh I love summer and when people bring their old trucks out, hopefully I am going to have an old victory red painted F100 I talked to guy about detailing this summer. Truck looks great man! thanks for sharing up!
  16. very nice work! just heads up to you guys if your gunna sand away at the headlights you should throw a more permanent coating over the top so the oxidation and pitting is prevented cause it will happen sooner than it did before. Wax/quick sealant is nice for a quick fix but once you start sanding away plastic and near the UV protective coating you need a serious protection. Since this is not really an Adams focus of sales I would recommend these things: -Spar Urethane w/mineral spirits or -Optimum Opti-Coat over after you have sanded/polish/IPA wipedown Audi headlights are notorious for the oxidation, ive done many pairs for people.
  17. Thats what it looks like for real, thats awesome though, so mean looking. Tint looks nice and dark/uniform, wish I would get away with that here, even though ill be doing 50% on my windshield this summer haha. I remember your first one, glad after the fiasco with the red one that you ended back with black. Wild thing is when I bought mine way back I thought it was gonna get here and be brilliant black and when I picked it up from the loader at midnight by my house it was not haha and I was pissed at first but now I have come to love it. Your jeeps looking sick Tamara, you ever get bothered bout your taillights too?
  18. looks great tamara lucky you got the brilliant black, might get away with it being dirty for a little longer than my black clearcoat! Do you have 50% on the windshield?
  19. Thanks a lot, well for this it took alot longer than I thought it would but its a lot of surface to cover, then compounded from how horrible the condition of the paint was. For this one I skipped lunch and started early cause I wanted to work straight through like a crazy person haha. I'd say around 16 or so hours, my process was tweaked a bit for this one but I didn't wanna miss anything.
  20. sick cobra man! I cant find any place like that around here to take pictures, gunna make a search in the summer for cool places.
  21. Welcome and thanks for your service! Throw up some pictures of the jeep and R1!
  22. Thanks alot man, owner comes home to see it tomorrow so hope he'll be as happy with it as I was finishing it!
  23. Dylan said it all, also dont think many places will be too heavy with CR-V wheels. Most will carry mustang camaro stuff like that. Might wanna go look out on a CR-V forum, know there re a few and they might have an in that we don't know specific to the CR-V.
