My girlfriend's son lost his father at only 33 years old a few weeks ago.. so they want to sell his car.. I did a quick 8 hour detail on it.. I packed all my gear and headed to gf's son's grandmother's house.. not the best pics. Wish I took more .. Before 8 or so hours later.. Wash, clay bar, severe swirl, swirl and haze, topped with glaze and the old quick detailer.. My girlfriend took care of the interior and did a killer job considering son's father worked in construction.. you couldn't tell after she was done with it... didn't take pics of that either.. Yeah my girlfriend hates that I take so much time detailing my car... but it gives her time to relax, shop, clean the house.. my detail time is her alone time.. she just hates that I tell her to only touch the rubber around my window to close the door.. not the paint or glass. yeah.. better than their last generation sure.. but compare to Audi, MB or even Kia... And i think the Ford Fusion is perfect.. and .. if they price point the coupe ... i might actually trade my VW in on it.. The Ford Falcon is the Australian version.. and the Pontiac "GTO".. that was a car designed and built in Australia as the Holden Monero; at the end of the model's design run. The Pontiac G8 was a nice car... The Holden Commedore the new Opels/Vauxhall that GM are bringing over are nice and have been updated.. this would be cool to replace the "spark" imported Opel as a Buick.. Imported Opel Mokka as 2 GM SUVs Opel Corsa... The new Dodge Dart is actually a really fresh looking "U.S." car. I'll admit the Ford Focus looked good... and Ford is tweaking it.. the ST models are looking good too..

I'm not impressed with the impala. Still looks dated... but GM is just taking their old "world" cars and bringing them here.. any GM car that's actually made in the states? Yeah it's fun.. Lol I love and hate driving it.. I spend 8 hours every 2 weeks detailing the car.. when I drive it.. it gets dirty.. and I hate that. Lol... I am still scared to use it. Lol.. I use it as a personal for bugs and grime on the high impact areas. And also my door jams... I'm starting to use the ww after a wash when the car only has dust and road grime on it. It is still a great product and I'll gain more trust with it as I use it more. And heck.. UN fortunately they do not ship the cars from the factory to your doorstep in a closed container.. only Lamborghini does that. Lol.. The car will sit outside of the plant for several days or weeks before they get loaded on the train.. then dropped to the storage lot.. for a few days then on a Cottrell car carrier to the dealership. The dealer will take off the shipping plastic and wash it.. with a sponge and whatever is around.. if they don't drive it through an octopus car wash... So.. get the car.. do a full wash using Adam's shampoo. Detail the wheels. Then do what was mentioned earlier.. the quick detail plastic bag test. Spray detailer on the hood, rub your hand in a plastic bag over the paint.. softly.. if it feels like sand paper.. clay bar.. All honestly, clay bar would not be a bad idea anyway. The plant will have over spray, air born contamination, and just the storage lots would be enough to "stain" the paint... Keep us posted and post pics! Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2

I am a huge fan of Ford's.. I just wish their paint process was a bit better. When. Sold them.. seems every model had orange.peel or flat spots in the paint. I remember a tuner magazine several years ago getting a focus and having the car wet sanded and painted from the factory. Ha thanks. Butility I'm done with body mods for a bit.. No tint on windshield. Yeah 20% non metallic tint on all other windows. Just the GIAC x+ with the k03 sport turbo. Haven't had cash to do b.t. yet.. but I have a plan.... Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2

Switch between heat and cold. 30 mins each. Take anti inflammation. And a back belt will help..

That's the severity of the fade.. I just teased them with the hood. Only did 1/4 of it. And the roof I only polished about 1 square foot. Not sure sure what I'm going to do. Need some blue tape for the hard edges though..

I was thinking just hand polishing the roof. Test with clay bar, Hit with revive, then with glaze and top with APW.

So... friends asked me to detail his car.. after I teased them with a clay bar, 5 machine stages and apw.. however the roof has some patina.. I just took some glaze, buttery and then apw.. What should I really do for the roof? I'll post pics soon...

Had 20mm spacers for a while for the rear. I put new wheels on it.. and if I really wanted... I found custom wheels.. I'd do et20 rear and et35 front on 18x8"
