  1. I boiled all my older (2-3 yrs) single softs last night with splash of vinegar as directed on the microfiber care thread then washed with Adams Microfiber cleaner and hang dried. Not sure if there is a recommend time of boiling, but I only left them in there for about 1-2 mins and stirred around. Hopefully, this addresses my linting problem.
  2. On the claying video, Adam mentioned to leave the Detail Spray lubricant on the paint and there was no reason to remove before polishing. Has this always been the case? I thought the best practice was to wash after claying. If there is no harm with polishing over top or removing with a towel I would much rather go that route.
  3. I am very happy with my BFG A/T's. Most of my driving is freeway. Great wear.
  4. I recieved my first 5 gallon jug last night. I might be blind, but how to you install the nozzle?
  5. On my suburban, I protect the roof but do not polish. I put a leveling kit and 33's so your never going to see the roof. I add the protection so that my paint stays intact but its never seen so I do not worry about correcting it.
  6. Also use a step ladder on my suburban. There really is no fast way to do it. Takes me at least 2 hours from set up to clean up to do a wash.
  7. That is not normal wear. My pads been used about 5 times now with little to no indications of wear.
  8. I am in the process of using APC to clean the tile grout in the house
  9. If i remember correctly UC is not water based opposed to SVRT, APC, etc so I do not think it would dilute very well.
  10. Recommend 70/30 for when making SVRT "Milk". I found 50:50 was to watery.
  11. Ive been using a 70/30 mix and like it better than the 50/50 I originally tried.
  12. I am looking for some input/recommendations on a do-it yourself type bed liner for my sidesteps on my Z71 Suburban. I have been applying VRT to them to keep them looking nice, but since adding a leveling kit and making the truck higher my wife is not a fan of the slippery surface caused by the VRT. Any recommendations, insight, tips on this type of product will be greatly appreciated and my marriage thanks you!
  13. Havent been using full strength because I am pretty good about maintaining them and didnt think it was necessary. Also its cheaper...lol
  14. Yup. I clean them with 50/50 APC with the fender brush just about every wash or every other wash.
  15. It might be time for new fender liners on my suburban. It takes anywhere from 3-5 coats of Undercarriage spray on my rear fender liners to get rid of all the white chalky streaks/spots. My front liners are perfect after 2 coats. Do you think I am applying the UCS wrong or is it just time for new liners?
  16. Mine is doing much better after letting it soak in 5oz of APC overnight.
  17. What is the optimum amount of soap to use for the foam master?
  18. Did this work for you? I am having the same problem. I have soaked the merino once with 3oz with little improvement. I will go back and see how 4-5oz works.
  19. Does this mean no more dealer installed swirls on Camaro's and Vette's?
  20. My order was also delayed because it included WW. Ashely said it would be shipping out today. Everybody must of stocked up on it with the flat rate shipping over the weekend.
  21. Every time i go to the grocery store, I just about have a heart attack.
