  1. Get the trans flushed at 50k.  Especially if you're driving it more spiritedly than others on the road.  You're still under the 100k powertrain warranty so might as well get it done.  At least they can't come back for not maintaining proper maintenance on the car if anything should happen in the 50-100k mark.

  2. Hi all!  Just figured I would pass this along since I came across this while at work.  I know quite a few of us like to have a nice bottle of water near by but don't use the regular plastic container it comes in or fill them up at a water fountain.  I got mine today and it's very awesome!  The lid really secures down tightly and the quality is all there!  Check them out!  They are running a Liberty Freedom bottle collection for the month of July.

  3. cool thanks.  are you going to sell the patriot apps seperate in case those that bought the wax want an extra?

I would like to echo that question as well since I'm super OCD, which would be CDO since that's in alphabetical order but anyways... I love having spare and backup applicators just in case one would fall on the ground or anything like that.  Plus I'm digging the stiffer backing on the Partiot applicator!  It seems to function better with the application of the wax.

  4. DUUUUUUUUUDE You have no idea! The past 5 washes I gave my truck recently with no rain in the forecast, a huge dark cloud produces a thunder shower right as I finish.

So on Saturday I checked the weather radar and nothing in site. Finished the truck and just as I bring in all the gear in comes the thunder shower. My wife laughs and says, "The Great White Curse gotcha again eh!"

Hey I didn't know she was Canadian!  :P   I know the feeling tho.  Washed mine for the first time in a while and what does it do the next day when it's suppose to be 'clear'?  Yep, rains all day.  Now we are in a 'heatwave' and not suppose to get any rain until Friday.  If I drove the car to work tho it would rain every day I did so.  It's an omen.

  5. I also rinse the brushes out after every use, meaning after I get done with one tire, I rinse out the tire scrubbing brush.  After a fender cleaning, that one gets rised too.  It seems to help keep the dirt and grit from really bedding into the brushes.  I've had some of my brushes almost 2 years now and they look very close to new.  Give em a little soak with APC and let them sit in water like Dylan said and you'll have yourself some nice, fresh and clean brushes and woolies!

  6. Update! I think I am going to go 4L80E. A good friend has found an avenue where it cheaper to get a Stage II that will handle a Ton of HP for me, than having a built 70. Should be back up by September with all the travel I have coming up! Couple other goodies happening while its apart too...

I have a feeling said goodies are going to do this to your face :D  while you do this down the streets :burnout:

    Can't wait! B)

  7. That has everything to do with the spray head and not the bottle.  I am mixed here.  I love using the wheel and tires cleaners in the big bottles because I use that much.  The other stuff, like WW and DS, I prefer in 16oz. bottles. as I don't like clunking around a car with a huge bottle.

When doing all of the jambs and pre-treating bug and heavily soiled areas with WW I like having the 36oz size.  Of course for smaller stuff I use the 16oz size but for the larger vehicles it was a nice option.

I know it's already going to be discontinued and the decision has already been made, which is a bummer from my perspective, but I'll just live with it.  Nothing I can do.

  8. I had a reply typed and the server took a poop and didn't post it.  Crap.

I like the 36oz sized bottles as well.  Hopefully none of mine break!  I use the 36oz for APC, GWC, DWC, WW and DS on nearly every vehicle I detail.  Like the fact that it's less frequent fill ups and for the larger sized vehicles I know I won't run out of product while I'm in the middle of working on it.  I found that I used the 16oz sizes less and less once I used the 36oz sizes.  Plus I'm not sure if it's just me or not but I liked the way that DS and WW sprayed out of the 36oz nozzles than the 16oz size.  Something about it just seemed to be a bit more perfect for those products spray patterns.

I didn't mind the size of the bottles either.  I guess I just have big hands for a short guy
