Ordered up! I have been waiting for a while for these to come back. John let me check them out at the Thompson Racing clinic and ever since I've been eagerly awaiting for their return! Glad to see them back!

If it was a male I would be drinking beer out of his empty skull right now. People know not even to do that to ANY of my rides because I would more than likely re-arrange their facial bits and pieces, among other things. Heck my Jeep has the clear coat coming off of it from a bad paint job and people know not to touch it.
Tony has a good idea if it does happen to be a lady but even still, proper education of what they just did goes a long way. Then again, if it's someone who just flat out doesn't care about anything, you may as well be preaching to the choir.

I put my etched decal on the car this weekend but looks like it won't let me upload a photo via the moble version. Oh well. It looks really good, especially on tinted windows.

Only set in Silverstone Metallic.
Brandi's SS would look great all colormatched.
Mook
OOO now you have my interest! I agree it would look amazing all color matched! Gears are turning in my brain...

iPhone 5 with an Otterbox Defender case on it going strong since the 5 was released. As soon as I got the phone, it went right in the case. It's been dropped a few times and in those few times, I'm sure I made the impact worse when I went to catch it and then just hit it making it go harder at the wall/floor/foot. After I dropped my 4 up at Rausch Creek when I was wheeling and it bouncing off a few boulders, I thought it was done for, but, to my surprise there was hardly a mark on the case. I've been a customer since then.
I did see that Otterbox now has an Armor series of cases for the iPhone 5. My dad just stepped into the smartphone world last night when he ordered a 5 for himself and he liked my case so he decided to get one as well. I'm sure he will put it thru it's paces since he loves to be outside doing yard work and up in the barn doing woodworking and metal fab.

Yes. No shortcuts are taken on any ride I get my hands on.

My shirts fit pretty well and the weight is spot on. I agree with Mook, if they were any heavier I wouldn't think about wearing them while detailing or during the warmer months.
I ordered mediums since that's the size that fits the best out of the shirts I wear and they feel pretty good. Not too big, not too small. Although I would look like a beast in a smedium!

Welcome! Where exactly in Alaska are you from? My better half was just up there two weeks ago.
Awesome looking car in that color. For some reason the darker gray/gunmetal colors look amazing on a vehcile with aggressive lines.

Welcome! You'll love this stuff! I know I can't get enough of it!

This is going to take a little getting used to with all of the new features and navigation but like most things that change, everyone will adapt and enjoy it more with time, just like a nice aged beer.

Get well soon bud!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Don't worry about shipping out my mystery boxes until he is better. It can wait. Family is top priority!

Where do you order??
The new version of the shirts should be launching very soon. I'm hoping to have one before my trip to Texas next week!

Welcome aboard!

Eric and his family put on one amazing event! It was great catching up with some old friends and making new ones. I spent a little too much time in the sun but it was well worth it! Brandon and Justin also killed it along with Dylan on the demos. Great group of guys and lots of talent under one roof!
Thank you Eric for taking all of us into your shop and making each and every one of us feel like family. You always go above and beyond each year to make everything better. Now, when's the fall clinic?

LMAO! I'm the minority. I look in specific sections when on the desktop. When viewing on the phone or iPad, I just look at the unread tab and go thru there. I'll hit up the participated tab as well to check on things I posted too.
Besides, who wants to read Mayben's posts in the welcome thread for 10 pages when they all are :worth:

Oh I'm sure I won't be! Can't wait to see the goodies!

Can't wait!! You really do put on one heck of an event! Can't wait for it!! See you all soon!

Since I fly out tomorrow morning that might not work out.
Okay I can't read a calendar... I kept thinking today was Tuesday. DOH!!
-
Yea whats up Matt?? Are you psyched from th V8-supercars?? If I was going instead of going to the May19th show I would be pumped.
Oh I'm already half mentally checked out from work and it's a week and a half away! I'm really excited about the trip. Nothing like driving half way across the country to see some of the best racing on the planet! It's going to be an epic time to say the least.
What all are you getting done to your beast now? Andrew working some more magic on her?
Also if you need any help or anything just let me know. We have a lot of locals in this area with a wealth of knowledge. It's a shame you can't make the clinic! You will just have to come out to the one in the fall! That is a can't miss event as well!

Stop throwing out your 'old time wisdom' there's really no use for it in today's world.
Sure there is! 'A man who masters patience is a master at everything.'

Welcome sir! You should recognize the car in my sig and the same handle on other forums.
Dads Ford Fusion Correction
in Detailing Write-Ups
Posted
Hi all! I figured you would like to see some shots of my dads Ford Fusion that I did a full correction on about two months ago. I wanted to wait to post these since two months ago, my dad had surgery for prostate cancer. He found out over this past winter that he had cancer and out of the twelve biopsies taken, only three came back with positive signs of cancer. Two of them a very slow growth and one being normal growth. Things were a bit hectic for a while and the nerves were building before surgery (the first any of us had to deal with in the immediate family). I honestly haven't even told anyone publically until now. The good thing is that all went very well and he is now back in action working full time again. Now while he was recovering he couldn't drive so I took this opportunity to work on his car and get it all cleaned up so when he could drive, it would be ready to go.
Now I didn't take any before or during pictures. Honestly with everything going on and taking care of the north 40, I just wanted to get this bad bird done. Also this was my first test of the Patroit Wax and I must say, that stuff is absolutely incredible! My dad is a hero in my eyes so I decided to try it out and give his ride the best treatment. Here is the list of all that was done.
Tires and wheel wells cleaned with APC
Wheels cleaned with GWC
2 bucket strip wash with APC & CWS
Clayed
SHR
FMP
MSS
Glass cleaned and sealed
Tires and trim dressed with SVRT
Wheel wells done with UCS
QS on the wheels
BG
Patriot Wax
Full interior done with LI Cleaner, LI Conditioner, CUC
After about a week of working on it after work, here are the results. Had to sneak in a photo of my dad checking out the paint as well. All he could say was 'Wow! That looks insane!' Made my day hearing that! The point and shoot camera was having a hard time capturing the amount of flake in this paint. It really was glittering in the sun. Hope you enjoy!
