Great stuff! Seems like everyone is popping out kids or just reveiving news about the future kiddos! Must be something in that Detail Spray...

Yeah, but your list is already set up.
Truer words have not been spoken.

StormChaser and I had this idea over a year ago but we didn't get to the whole 'getting married' thing yet. I have a feeling our list will be longer

LOL... I see what you did there, Mister.
How many times do I have to tell you?!?! When you address me it will only be as "Sir" or "Your Majesty"... you pull this casual speak with me again and its back in the 55 gallon drum you go to think about what you've done.
Or Great Bearded One!

Awesome shots and a great experience for everyone I'm sure! You have a beautiful part of the country to explore! I just got back from an extended weekend up at our camp in the mountains. No cell service was actually a very refreshing thing. All we did was eat, cut the grass, played horseshoes and just enjoyed the time up there. Can't wait to go back!

Welcome home Randy and thank you for your service!
Can't wait to see all of the details on the '55!

matts88yj had a gut feeling something wasn't right with said character.

matts88yj can't believe some of his outrageous stories. In a prior life, matts88yj detailed for 86 years...

ive used the glass cleaner and the towels, issues i find is if you use too little of the spray then the towel will catch the glass and your hand will slide right off the towel, they are too "grippy", i've even gone back over the streaks and tried to buff them out but its hard to get them all
Then your technique is flawed. Have some residue left over after a cleaning? Use a waterless wash towel and go over the glass again without the use of any additional product. Streak free glass every time.
As for designing a product, not sure if it was already mentioned or not but how about a little rubber hose attachment that when you're pool rinsing, the metal shut off valve is not the first thing to touch the paint and instead, you have a more paint friendly rubber compound.

well, here's an update..
I've been monitoring the remaining tread life as I have been waiting for the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 to come out.. it's supposed to perform better than excellent summer tires..
They're supposed to be out around the second week of July. Well, last week, the Wife, my Mom, and I were driving home from BJ's and it sounded like I blew out a tire. As I was pulling over the sound went away. Being that it didn't feel blown, I continued the short distance to our destination carefully. I took a look and saw a string, it looked like I picked up a yo-yo.. I gave it a tug and no yo-yo, so I turned the wheel and WOW, the tire is falling apart..
So, the Wife and I are carpooling for the time being..
To add to the madness, according to Michelin's site, the tire I want will not fit my 8" wheels and need at least an 8.5" width.. now I can either sacrifice and get a different tire, or pick out a new wheel and sell my current.. what a dilemma this has been..
I wish I had a hook-up on this stuff like I did 10 years ago..
What size tire are you going with? You'll be happy with the Michelin's. I absolutely love my PSS's and Alpin PA3's.

Great work Dave! Looks like I may be able to get away with one stepping it on the car before winter time.

I got a chance to use one of these towels this weekend when I was working on my dads Ram 1500 with a Magnaflow cat back on it. The plush side was perfect for removing the MP1 and MP2 residue with ease. Pick up a few of these today! You won't be disappointed!

Out. Silver gets no love at car shows.

You're welcome everyone! Glad everyone is enjoying it!

FYI. The ONLY reason that there is no more Pontiac division is because of the Chinese. They buy 80% of the Buicks sold from GM. Since GM needed to get rid of one of its line, they kept the Buicks because of foreign sales. Personally, I still look at Buicks as old people cars and don't ever expect to buy one. Loved Pontiacs and wish they would have kept them instead.
And by the way, I got that info straight from the horses mouth at GM.
Another reason why China sucks.

Matt, glad your dad is OK. My father had the same thing, although they got lucky and caught it on the first try....very, very early stage of the cancer.
Oh yeah, car looks great!
Thank you! Yeah they seemed to catch it fairly early before it spread so that was a huge thing in itself.
Thank you very much!

Agreed! He seems very well spoken about the entire chain of events as well. I bet he has a ton of additional stories as well.
-
Oh yeah he was soaking it up for sure! It hurt to look at it without sunglasses on while in the sun. If you look close enough, you can see him in the reflection of the shot near the fuel tank door. Those white dots are his shoes

Nice work my man!
Thank you sir! My dad said that he didn't even want to drive it after it was all cleaned up. I seem to hear that a lot after I get done working on vehicles. Guess I'm doing something right!

My dad showed me this the other day and I thought this was awesome. The pilots 91st birthday was three days ago and I can't get enough of his reaction to the video.

Sad thing is, the paint isn't silver It's more of a metalliac green to it than anything. It is a neat color for sure, especially when all cleaned up!
-
Thank you for getting it moved and the props! Yeah he is a trooper for sure. Bounced back a ton after surgery. The biggest pain for him was sitting around while I was doing the work around the house. Said he never felt so helpless in his life!

Ah crap, I posted in the wrong section... Someone move this to the Cars section? Thank you!!

Did the same for me yesterday and when I went to make a post this morning after clicking on the post button, it didn't refresh to show that I had posted. I went back out of the thread and into it and there was my post.
Also when I click on the 'Like This' button it doesn't change and say I liked it until I go back out of the thread and re-enter again.
