I would suggest adding this instruction to the Account Login Screen.

Something like "Current passwords of Registered Users were not brought over to our new website.  Registered Users should click on  Forgot Your Password .  You will then receive an email with a link that will allow you to reset your password and you may then enter your existing password or create a new one."

It might just save having to answer a few thousand emails and phone calls.

Matt, I've updated the links in the forum header to point to the correct URLs. Also, the script file that was running the social media rotator next to the Adam's logo seems to be missing. The forum is looking for it at http://banners.adamspolishes.com/abm.aspx?z=1 Shoot me a message if you need that pointed to a different location.

Did you request a new password? I think Matt said that the old passwords were not ported and a reset request is needed to get that taken care of.

Haha thanks for the thumbs up! We quietly put it up today without announcing it so we could work on a few things before a huge launch. So far it looks like everything is working well! Thanks for your feedback.

The extended shopping cart would basically be if we let items sit in your cart for longer, say 30 days before they disappeared.

Unfortunately we could not bring over password information (security issues from the encryption). If you type in your old email address and click "Forgot Password" you should be walked through setting up a new one!

I'm usually one of the first to say that I hate change. Just as you get used to something it gets changed on you. Not in this case. You guys did an awesome job on the new website! Good job to everyone at Adams Polishes!!

PS That yellow corvette on the home page banner is such an awesome picture. Bright and the focus is on point!

I drive this car 76 miles to work round trip about 3-4 times a week.  The paint is in really good shape except for the orange peel, but I haven't seen one of these that doesn't have that problem.

I started out by removing all four of the wheels and using Deep Wheel Cleaner to get the majority of the brake dust off the inside of the barrels.   I scrubbed the barrels using the wheel woolies, my Adam's NEW Wheel Woolie won't be here until Thursday.  After I scrubbed the barrels I used All Purpose Cleaner to help get the road tar off from all these nice asphalt roads here in MO.  The Trim & Lug Nut Brush came in handy when cleaning the brake dust out of the little crevices on the inside of the wheel.  I then used Green Wheel Cleaner  to help clean up the front of the wheels, since they are normally very clean.  I topped the wheels off by using Quick Sealant to help make maintaining a lot easier.

I finished up the wheels with a spritz of Detail Spray from my awesome Kwazar and some Tire Shine applied with a Super Block Dressing Applicator.
After doing the wheels I pulled the car out of the garage and did a strip wash with Car Wash Shampoo, All Purpose Cleaner, and one ounce of Rinseless Car Wash to help soften the water.

After doing a pool rinse I pulled the car back into the garage to use Adam's Clay Bar to get rid of any contamination.

Cleaned up and dried the car using the Sidekick Dryer and Microfiber Waterless Towels.

I then followed Adam's suggestion and used Brilliant Glaze applied by hand followed by Liquid Paint Sealant applied with my Rupes Duetto.  Those things really make the paint pop and I just love a black car when it is all cleaned up!

I will be applying Adam's Americana this week if the rain lets up eventually.
I couldn't get any great full car pics outside as it has been raining the last two days.  Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated guys.  Thank you to Gdwenger for helping me out with some of the products.

Finally able to get some full pics taken of the car.  This is with Brilliant Glaze, Liquid Paint Sealant and Americana Premium Carnauba Paste Car Wax.

One bit of information for you.

I am a small engine mechanic for a living, and a certified pressure pump technician (sounds fancy..NOT!)

Anyways, do not run water that is too hot through that unit of yours. Pressure washer pumps that are to be used with hot water are designed specifically for that. There are completely different sets of o-rings, packings and seals for cold water units, and hot water units. Your unit is designed for cold water, not hot. Warm water or barely hot water will probably be ok, but don't get too carried away with it.

On a side note, very nice truck. I am not a Ford man, but I have always liked the Raptor truck look and the interiors are really nice as well.

And one of the downfalls of the internet is that people think that since they have an opinion they have to share it and everyone wants to hear it.

When I bought this car...the paint was wrecked. I love black cars but this one looked like it had been through an automatic car wash every day of its life. After I would wash it, I could barely look at the car because of all of the swirl marks. I definitely wasn't going to take it in that condition so I bought a bunch of goodies from Adam's, pulled out the Porter Cable and went to work.

The Adam's products are awesome. Easy on easy off. I started off with the clay, then the 2 step correction and then the wax to finish it off. Here is the before and after from just the first step of the paint correction. Unedited cell phone flash shots.

After it was all said and done...I am extremely happy with the result and now she is finally ready some legitimate pictures to be taken finally.

The title of this thread describes exactly how this little project started. The weather has been very, very we there in North Florida. The rain started yesterday and had not let up all day today (other than a short break).

We'll, the boredom set in and I started thinking about the fact that I have a brand new mower that could stand to be cleaned. So....I cleaned it.

I used waterless wash on the body and the exposed deck. I used all purpose cleaner on the motor. I then used vrt on all of the plastics. Just for kicks I used Adam's Finishing Polish with a white pad on my PC to bring out a little shine. After I applied a coat of Liquid Paint Sealant for protection and to make life easier when cleaning it.

I know, I know. It is only a mower. But, it never hurts showing some TLC to something you want to keep in tip top shape for as long as possible.

The rain stopped for about an hour which allowed me to get this photo. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
