  1. I was really disturbed by that pic, so I tired a little PS to make it more palatable. [/img]
  2. Yes, it worked, and nice car. Oh, and what the... :willy:
  3. Are you guys happy with the Epoxy kits? I've been tempted to try one, too, but I keep hearing stories of peeling. anyone having that issue?
  4. I was wondering... should we start a "garage sale" section where we could start having members list things for sale? Our diverse membership might be too scattered to have specific Corvette, F150, Camaro, Mustang, etc categories, but maybe one big catch all category for basically anythng you might have lying around the garage... car parts, tools, ramps, unused competitor's detail stuff (heh heh heh ) and so on. The general rule would be it has to be "garage stuff" so as to keep it from becoming a flea market filled with ironing boards, old cookware, and Jason's Beanie-Baby collection. Thoughts? Rich
  5. Welcome! Lets see some pics of the 'Stang.
  6. Is the phone in the lower left a direct hotline to Adam's customer service?!? :D:D
  7. Nice work! I'd love to have a shop capable of making stuff like that. I'm really impressed!
  8. Always great to see more Corvettes here! Rich
  9. Yes, it's an all wooden boat that I built. It arrived as a big box of sticks and it took me about a year and a half of on-again/off again attention. It's fully RC and goes like stink -- lots of fun to run it around in a little pond here in my neighborhood. here it is in action: Ahed here's another that I have in progress, undergoing it's "sea trials". I have it basically built and functional, but I still need to do all the exterior/deck detailing. It's 4 feet long and has 2 electric motors in it -- great for chasing the geese around!
  10. Ouch... that does hurt to look at. Ever find the clown that did it?
  11. It's funny, Adam pictured me as a big fat guy due to the name of my company (Fat Cat Creative). But let's not go so far as to call me "normal looking". I think I do scare some skittish children.
  12. [/img] This is me and "the one that puts up with all the time I spend cleaning the car" Rich
  13. I suspect this forum is going to keep you plenty busy...
  14. What else do you guys and gals do to keep yourselves out of trouble? I play around a little with wooden R/C boats. Here's one I recently finished up:

    HI

Welcome! Great to see another import in here! (I'm assuming from your Avitar that you're a Honda guy). It seems like with the exception of my Audi, a BMW, and a few Titans, this place is largely domestic iron so far. Get some of your buddies over here and let's see your rides! Rich
  16. Seriously... ever since I saw your pics of your C4 I've been checking craigslist and other sites thinking about trying to find a nice C4 that could use some TLC. My wife would kill me, of course, but man... your car reminds me how good those earlier C4 can look. Rich
  17. Here are some before and afters of my first time with IUC spray. I need to spot-reapply a little and clean up some streaks, but it looks amazingly better. before: after:
  18. In all seriousness... big props to all you POs, Firefighters, Military guys (and women), and others who selflessly stand up when it's people's natural inclination to run and hide. We all owe you a big Rich
  19. Here's a tip -- if you're using the Adam's firehose nozzle just open it up allllll the way and you'll get a really fat, slow flow of water... it's even easier to control than an open hose and it achieves that same sheeting effect. Rich
  20. Welcome! We're all looking forward to helping you out and getting to know you Rich
  21. My Vette has glass but it's generally protected when the lights are down, so I voted plastic for my Audi.
  22. Welcome! We can't have too many Corvette around here!
