I'm entitled to free oil changes for my Tacoma for the first 36k miles, but even still I'm doing them myself just so that i know they're done right and that the truck isn't dinged, scuffed or washed while it's in the dealer's "care".

That's going to be quite a transformation!

Welcome!

Yup, less is more. On hard plastic surfaces I apply, let it sit for 10 min or so, then wipe it down.

First, welcome to Adams. I think your plan is perfect. A lot of us work it that way.

#2 best looking car of all time IMO
Is it just me, or does this look like a model???

Cool. Those 80s sports cars are starting to be classics.

Wow, looks great! Any chance you're in the Rockville area? I saw a beautiful 300Z just like yours a week or so ago.

Nice! And is that a Starion/Conquest in the reflection?

Is this a new car? My vw had some similar spots like that when I first got it, and it drove me nuts and I eventually stopped thinking about them. Then a year later I went to look for them and they were gone. I kinda chalked up it up to the paint taking a long time to really cure/dry (for lack of any better expalanation).

For what it's worth, the OP of this thread seems to be a fly-by-night type with just 1 post, and it seems designed to stir up anger at Sears. So be wary of taking the bait.

That's awesome!
