  1. Yea, I think I'll be using that stuff with every other wash now. Sadly my driveway is an unhospitalbe place to park a car... it's covered by the canopy of a 150 year old oak tree that (hopefully) isn't going anywhere. So lots of tree stuff and bird offerings are part of my daily struggle.

  2. If you are still looking try PreWarCar.com.  So much information on that site.  It is little 'euro' skewed as it is run out of The Netherlands, but they cover everything!

I found a Mitchell on the site, but the cowl is rounder.  They do not currently list any 'Davis' cars.

Thanks, I'll check that out.  :2thumbs:

  3. Hmm... very close for sure. Thanks! Your suggestion of a Mitchell let me to finding this, a 1916 Davis tourer. GW Davis Motor Car Co. operated out of Richmond, IN and Baltimore, MD, so geographically it could make sense. There seem to be some differences in the compartments under the doors, and the car In my pic seems to have more of a number on the front, but those could of course have been optional bits.

  4. Hi All --

Trying to answer this question for a neighbor of mine... we're trying to figure out what kind of car this is. The photo was taken in 1916 or 17, most likely in West Virginia. Any ideas?
