  1. I left the detail spray on as I clayed (clayed for the first time a few days ago). I have a white car in Las Vegas...after I was finished, the residue was dry and there was "pink stuff" all over the car. I just misted with water and it came right off with a single soft.
  2. Just clayed all the windows and windshield in my car a few days ago. I used Adam's glass cleaner with the Adam's Glass Cleaning MF towels to clean up. Both products are amazing and left my glass completely spotless. Maybe you just need to give them a good cleaning to remove all the residue? Hope it works out.
  3. I am by far no expert, but I just clayed my car for the first time a couple of days ago. My thought is that the baggie REALLY amplifies EVERYTHING sitting on the paint. I too clayed my heart out only to have the baggie test tell me that there was still "stuff" on my paint. I think it could even be dust that has settled in the time you went to go get the baggie. My neighbor was using a leaf blower when I was claying...I am sure that junk blowing around was settling on my car. I would just get it as good as I could and call it good.
