  1. Duuuhhhhhh, be nice or don't play at all and pay close attention because it's obvious that Kevin was talking about his master blaster for drying the vehicle...the clue is it's the last word he used "BLASTER" duuhhhhh!

my bad....ha, be nice or don't play at all.  Dang, duhhh must be a bad word!

  2. The sidekick will work awesome for what you are going to use it for. For drying a whole vehicle it works but I recommend the master blaster revolution.

i agree!  if you have disposable income, go for the big boy MB but if you use the sidekick for anything other than drying the entire car, its perfect

  3. Hi all! First off let me say that I am blown away from all Adam's products. Prior to the discovery of Adam's polishes I was using auto store stuff and thought I was doing good. I have accumulated(what I think) is a pretty good collection of Adam's products. I would say I have a favorite but that's tough. Saying that my top 3 are definitely the mtm foam cannon, h20 guard and gloss and Americana. Most of the time I just detail the stable at home which consist of a black GMC Acadia, metallic silver GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 and my baby a 93 dodge d350 with the 5.9 12 valve cummins.

    what part of east TX?

  4. I use All Free & Clear, but it's a matter of time before I switch to microfiber revitalizer.

i use the same for less contaminated towels as it is dye free and run an extra rinse cycle...I believe it does a good job

for soiled towels I'll use MF revitalizer

  5. Welcome from Dallas.  I figure after all the storms, maybe some of Adams products can protect my cars.  Can wait to learn from the best on how to clean and protect my cars.

    Cheers,

    DTexan

I have Adams products and it didn't protect my car last Sunday night, ha...if only they made a hail protection coating!!!!

  6. So ever since i got the WW blue waffle weave, i've been using that towel to dry my car; and its been very effective at that. Since it's getting a tad worn out and losing its softness (I'll be picking up the microfiber wash in my next purchase) I was wondering what's the GSM between the GWD and the WW towels? I ask because if the WW towels have been effective and are relatively the same GSM, I might as well just buy another WW towel instead of the GWD ( possible overkill but wouldn't hurt the slightest to have).

they are the exact same towel, just different color and size.  I too prefer the waterless wash towels over the GWDT, easier to handle

  7. Not sure exactly, followed the instructions exactly and tried it out on a rubber exterior window/door molding. It went on perfect and looked great, but after drying had tons of dry streaks in it and not much gloss look at all, looked terrible! Called adams and they recommended brilliant glaze on the rubber trim piece to level it out, gave it a shot and looks much better, but definitely doesn't look like it has a sheen look to it. Nervous to attempt reapplying the coating in fear of my trim piece looking like crap and be ruined

did you apply the trim coating onto rubber?  you said above "on the rubber trim" so am wondering if the trim piece is plastic or rubber

  8. when I had my physical a couple of months ago my dr said so I see you have gained some pounds over last year.  He asked if I have been exercising any and I said I play 2-3 nights of softball but then usually go out for some beers afterwards.  His response, so what exercise are you doing again?!?!?!

  9. I just dealt with it b/c to me it was a small step to start living with a semi dirty truck with kids.

    1. car seat indentions was the beginning!

    2. food crumbs to keep the kids happy while babies

    3. more food and crumbs while traveling

    4. oh yeah, also forgot to mention the occassional projectile vomiting while traveling...crap gets everywhere, ha!!

    5. kids got older moved into booster seats, still have indentions, but less messy food wise but not tracking in mud and all kinds of things from sports and taking there buddies places

...why did we have kids again, ha!!!!???
