  1. haha thanks guys! seat belt receiver is consistent in both pix this was the passenger seat Unfortunately I was unable to take more "after shots" of the int restore ... and by unable I mean too lazy :/ This was another great restore though bc it was being used as a work vehicle at some point On to the paint correction!
  2. Adam's CUC + a generic carpet brush + Bissell pro heat extractor on a 2001 VW New Beetle fabric seats BEFORE AFTER
  3. What is max ambient heat? Under 100F ok? I would like to just keep it w the rest of my Adam's stuff in the garage.
  4. ive used the 4" more often than the regular - friends with scratches visit often bc i can help By your Adam's powers combined, I am Captain Detail! Go Adam's
  5. how long do we have to wait between brilliant glaze and americana?
  6. Thanks! It was a 30 minute job. First, I used a brush to get out the major debris. Then, I used a wet rag (water) to wipe away dust. I misted the entire engine bay and front grilles (divided by Chevy cross bar) with 50/50 Adam's All Purpose Cleaner but then sprayed directly onto small areas I focused on. Moving one small area at a time I wiped away the road grime to it's flat finish. Then I wiped the entire work area dry with a microfiber towel. 100% Adam's Super Vinyl, Rubber and Tire dressing was applied EVERYWHERE with the appropriate sponge. Finally, the mesh style grilles and engine tubes/plastics (areas that could not be SVRT sponged well enough) was hit with Adam's In-and-Out spray. It was a great experience and I am very happy with the results.
  7. Actually, I did buff down with the proper applicator (thanks Dylan and for your wonderful daily deals) I also applied this a week ago and this is the 1st time it rained since. I buffed that coat flat so not sure what "too much" really is - I wonder if I am even applying anything
  8. Take a look at my plastic diffuser I cleaned with APC, 2b wash and applied SVRT to after just a little drizzle any idea why this is happening?
  9. thanks for all tips guys Dylan - you are always so honest. Thanks for that.
  10. oh man! I didn't mean these guys: didn't even realize it at the time, sorry I was referring to all of the folks here in the forum. I have really never seen a stronger forum community & liken it to a family. Glad to be a part!
  11. I anticipate the answer will be the traditional Adam's family, "because it's just better" response (and I don't doubt it) but ... ... I would like to know, given that the wash pad is guaranteed, not to scratch or swirl the paint, then why would I need anything else (i.e. wool mit)? Sorry if I sound like a jerk, you know I love you guys lol - honest question.
  12. Bless you guys, this is heart warming in a way I can't explain. I won't lie, it is a tear-jerking read and I feel privileged to even communicate with you all.
  13. this place is really fostering some brotherly love - I love it here!
  14. bravo! I am new to detailing - I can't wait to get to your level
  15. I wanted this kit because the numbers work out so that the APC comes with it at the same price, otherwise you are right, I can just buy the four pads and the backing plate
  16. Is this kit no longer available I've had it in my cart forever now but don't see it here any more
