I'm working til 130 over in Mechanicsburg (next town over), my buddy is picking me up and then were gunna cruise into the show to meet the guys and see what's going on! Can't wait!

It was too hot what?? lol This was one of the coolest years since I've been going! I didn't walk around to much but I was there all day Saturday and was with my buddy in the dragging contest. Here was just a few of what we had.

A pressure washer at the car wash always worked for me.

Well that wold be a start! All the ones I've gotten over the years from the GM show and the All Truck Nats have just been a wood plaque with the cover of the face for the show on it. And when I would get them shipped to me The corners would always be trashed. So I just make the hour and 20 mins back on sunday to grab my award. The one year Nathan Sheetz from Lingenfelter nominated me for his pick. The plaque was the same, just had his signature on it, it was a little smaller and I believe it said Celebrity pick on it. And then last yr or the yr before I got Best of Show SUV.... And they gave me a coat... Which I'll never wear. Still has all the tags on it in my closet. A show at the end of June, and they gave coats for Best Of's... lol Does anyone see something wrong with that?

I wish they would do something different with the awards... I'm tired of the cheap "wood" looking plaques. A few years ago I got 2nd at the GM show and they gave out plexiglass looking ones! They were the best one's I've seen. And congrats on the award again Rich! I forget all about you being there or I would've walked up and said hi! Did you get a chance to look at our SS's? A few cruising pictures of mine!

No love for the TBSS guys!? Lol JK Rich! It was an amazing weekend. Little hot in the sun, we all got burnt! But Saturday was my birthday and I walked away with a first place plaque! Four years in a row now!

I was actually just thinking of this topic the other day and I wanted to start a thread and ask my question but this looks to be the perfect spot to ask! I've never stripped the wax off my SS prior to correcting it. Now... It beads as if I just waxed it yesterday, all the time. And I haven't touched it with anything since the end of last season. And it sits out side. I wash it at least once a week, either spraying it down at the car wash or hand washing. My question is... If I strip the wax off to do a proper paint correction, will the also strip my glass? My glass beads amazingly and number one - I love it! and number two - I've never done anything with it other than installed a set of SilBlade wiper blades. But I don't want my glass going back to loooking like poo if I get caught out in the rain or what have you.

My wool wash mit has the little pollen looking stick things in it from washing my car. I hose it off best as I can but I still find little bits in it.

Never thought of it that way! Sad thing is, she's pretty swirled and hazed after sitting out side all winter long with the snow and ice. A few quick passes with haze remover and polish will take care of that tho!
