I've tried to use ssr and shr to remove the sanding micro scratches and even with my flex it didn't put a dent in them after 2 passes of each ...one full pass with the megs and it was all gone...but that's all il ever use the megs for that stuff don't smell good and I hate how long it takes to work it to flash...
Your welcome...anytime...that's what we're here for...I had to learn too...watch a couple youtube videos it will give you an idea of what to look for so u know the scratch is gone...

This was a customers car...I do 10 light swipes using a soft sanding block...I wipe dry with a towel and look to see if any of the scratch is still there...if it is...a few more swipes and recheck....tape off the area so u don't wet sand too much but you don't want to just wet sand the scratch or it will come out looking tarded....if the sand paper starts looking black your swiping to much or pressing to hard....its hard to tell but a good sign to me the the clear is getting this getting thin is you see the pores in the paint....or craters where you are sanding.....take your time use the pc on speed 6 with the m105 and a orange pad and work it over until you don't see scratches...or sanding marks then finish up with fmp....

Just remember light pressure...while I was practicing technique on some old panels I went right thru the clear not paying attention...never made that mistake again....I do 10 swipes then wipe dry....what kind of polisher do you have....I have a flex and a pc and I swear with the flex you can never tell I wet sanded....

I'd start with the 2000 with light strokes...when u can't see the scratch stop wet sanding....I use megs 105 for all my wet sanding and a orange pad (thanks to Dave) and that will remove em all...

They took care of me and. Sent me a new one...I swear I'm contemplating moving to Colorado I want to be closer to my fav stuff in earth....no company will ever come close to Adams polishes...
Yeah..you won't need the revive...if it's as bad as it sounds u may end up using ssr...if your doing the full program then u won't need revive....that's for more of a car not in bad shape...other than that your on the right path...post lots of pics

Yes..this was a new pad...I never used it before this....and it disintegrated soon as I started buffing.....I dunno but until I figure it out I dont want to use my pc or 4 inchers.....I'd hate for whatever that was to happen again...I've sat on my pc with the 6'inch pads and not one bit of harm to the pad....or surface...

Ok...so last night I picked up my 4 inch pad system from the FedEx....and this morning I decided to take it for a spin
...orange pad orange polish...porter cable...splash of ds...speed 5 and after 30 seconds...foam went everywhere...I pick the pad up and...
I dunno what happened...I put on the also new green pad...green polish and nothing happened...I used half pressure of what I use with the full size pc pad.. it was fine....I'm lost...
