    A couple of things. Watch for heat. If you use an extension cord, make sure that it is the correct gauge. If not, that will cause the unit to get hot as hell and burn up. That will also happen if you plug it into an outlet that has to many things on that circuit (it starves the unit of current). As long as it is not getting to hot to hold in your hand, you should be okay.

    Yea, it does sound better on 5. Lets compare it to mine. Do a speed of 6 but this time, put it on the car. Use a white pad and FMP on a speed of 6. Here's what mine sounds like:

    Okay, one more video at a speed of 5. Put the camera closer to the PC. I'm more interested in the sound than the actual video. I fixed your embed so I can fix it again if you post it wrong.

    Yes, you'll see color in your bucket of water with the first stroke. That would be a death sentence for your paint if it had clear coat on top of it.
