  1. hahaha....i think i will be shamwow guy for Halloween have yall seen that Billy Mays(the oxy-clean guy) is gonna have his own show called "The Pitchman" i think is the name of it?
  2. lol just found it....it was about when i asked if we could use the undercarriage spray on engine bays....i know he said no but its been discussed and its not to be sprayed on a "HOT" engine.
  3. i remember Adam sayin that he recommended diluting it to dress up engine hoses, plastics, etc. awhile back in a thread i made awhile back askin what we should do since the in and out had been discontinued.....i havnt got a chance to try it yet but im sure it does work pretty good judgin from what others on here have said:2thumbs:
  4. we all know it works wonders on the wheel wells....but how good will it work on visible parts on a suspension(coil springs, control arms, etc.)? ive got a show in may and my scores were low on the suspension/frame area....dunno if that was due to them not seeing anything that caught their eye or if they actually looked at it and graded it for not bein clean idk....but id rather eliminate the possibility of the reason being that it was dirty by cleanin it up and dressing it with the IUC spray.....any input on this?
  5. yea they are....i cant wait to use the revive polish along with the butter wax and the BSG
  6. sorry that the pic is late....but here it is and this was after usin BSG the first time on my truck
  7. prepare to give up any free time to this forum lol
  8. :welcomebanner:welcome aboard:welcomebanner:
  9. thanks everybody:cheers: next will be to purchase the clay bar, S&H remover and the revive polish and get to work on the body...i found a section on the drivers door where the door was re-painted and whoever did it tried to blend in the paint...well they failed horribly at it....looks like a white hazy V shape in the paint....it wont come out im almost sure of it but we'll see how it turns out once i do a full detail
  10. i know how you feel....ive got 2 big shows comin up,and im trying to save up to take my girlfriend to Port Aransas in June:xfingers: and i need more Adam's stuff too:willy::willy:
  11. my camera broke last night so all i had was my friends cell phone camera we took a couple pics of it.....the car did look good after i glazed it no doubt....but i ran the back of my pointer and middle finger across the hood and it DEFINITELY needs to be clayed.....but the white seemed to "glow" after a helping of BSG....gave the tires some VRT too came out nice.....my friend was more than happy the way it looked afterward so thats all that matters to me. ill get the pics on here tonight....they wont be good quality cuz they're from a cell phone but its better than nothing!
  12. im gonna look in my bucket after work to see whats in the bottom of mine from washin it this past sunday! so usin the 2 bucket method.....one bucket has car wash soap in it with a grit guard......and the other has just water with another grit guard insert? am i correct?
  13. same here....he wanted to do just a section of the hood to see how it would work and i would have if i had some DS but im currently out....so i told him we'll wash the whole car real good and hit it with the BSG and see how it goes....i get off work in an hour and a half and still gotta run home and grab my stuff so ill be pressed for time a little bit but shouldnt be a big issue.
  14. not on my truck obviously lol....a friend of mine just bought a white BMW 325i....the car is already pretty clean but he saw my truck the day after i used BSG on it and asked me how i got the black to look so "deep and shiny"....told him what i used and said he never heard of it. so im bringin the car wash shampoo,VRT,BSG,the wash pad and the great white towel and hopefully he'll like how it turns out when im done! ill take some before and after pics and post em up when we're done:burnout:
  15. dang it! i was gonna be the shamwow guy for Halloween this year....guess i should start thinkin of something new:jester:
  16. looks good dude....get the diamond headlights and turn signal lenses....they really set the front end off!
  17. thanks guys the old truck is out of my hands bro(as far as gettin the frame finished).....its sittin at a shop waiting to be built....ill keep you updated on it though!
  18. yea i'll defnitely start doin BSG after each wash....i need to hit my billet and painted stuff under the hood with it too
  19. its sposed to rain again here this week but o well more reason to wash it again and use the BSG....might throw some butter wax on to go with it this time:D
  20. i reached for detail spray and realized i was out lol....need to order a gallon that stuff goes too fast:willy:
  21. :thumbsup:great product:thumbsup: super simple to use and I hardly used any to do the whole truck. awesome results it looked and felt like I waxed it....deep reflection especially with my truck being black. only thing there were a couple spots on the hood after i buffed it with the MF towel where it streaked(small dot with a streak behind it)....dont know if i let it sit too long or not long enough but all in all I was very satisfied with the results!
