  1. A few weeks back we realized a larger vehicle was needed. There was no way i was giving up the TBSS, too much time and money into it. So I asked the wife if she felt comfortable enough to drive a full size truck on a daily basis. I was surprised when she said she was ok with it. Luckily the water pump in her Cruze went out on Monday so we had to take it in to get a replacement. It literally had 400 miles until the bumper to bumper warranty. I think they design these things to brake after 36k miles. Anyway she drove a few and really like it. We gave them all out our criteria for what we wanted and luckily enough they had what we wanted. I asked them not to remove any stickers or covers and no wash or "detail". I had a long talk with the salesman and sales manager about all the swirls and over all dull finishes on the showroom vehicles. Most are too blind or too excited to see when looking at a new vehicle. So, the detailer in the back was offended that he could't clean up our truck.to prove he was better than the "other" detailers. But was nice enough to throw in some extra Chevy rubber floor mats. I love the ride of the new trucks, and really like the look of the Silverado's. I've always been more of a Sierra guy. Here she is, Silver Ice Metallic, Jet Black Cloth Interior, 2WD LT Crew Cab Short Box. All Star Edition with remote start, back up camera, heated seats, navigation My Link and trailer braking. Locking Diff. With 3.42 gears. Window tint and 3-5 drop coming soon. ( so the wife can get in and out easier)
  2. Buttery wax is some great stuff. It's a bargain for the ease of use and the shine you get.
  3. Hey Ryan, don't make any plans for March 22. We're doing a show at a Chevy Dealership near Baton Rouge. I hope you can make. There may be a certain black and orange Camaro there that scoots pretty quick down a track.
  4. Hey guys, can y'all change my name to Holder? Thanks.
  5. Great work. These Camaor's are so popular it's hard to find one that's different without being over the top. This Camaro seems to be well done and just looks like a monster.
  6. Yep, you'll get great results with the Flex, MF pads and PCP/PFP. On a C5 I usually work the polisher at a speed 4.5 to get the best results.
  7. To see more pictures of this beast please visit https://www.facebook.com/HolderAutoDetailing?ref=hl or https://www.facebook.com/A.Holders?ref=ts&fref=ts This was a collective effort between myself (Holder's Auto Detailing of Wichita, KS) and my brother Alex (A Holder's Detailing of Baton Rouge, LA). Alex flew up to help with a car show this week and also to get a few rides show ready. One of the. Being this Cyber Gray C7 Stingray Corvette. First off this car is amazing. I love all the lines and overall look of the car. Working on cars like this is why I choose to spend my extra time detailing and perfecting vehicles. We started with the ever so popular Adam's Rinsless Wash. Which was perfect because I didn't want to spend another minute out in the wind washing a car. After claying we moved to a very thurough inspection of the paint and marked all our problem areas with Adam's professional detailers tape. After a test area was completed we went to town quickly realizing ising just the Flex Polisher wouldn't cut it on all the crazy angles this C7 was throwing at us. That's where the Cyclo Polisher came in handy. So while Alex worked the Flex I was working the Cyclo on all the tight areas and also removing scratches with a drill and Focus pads. Once we get it out in the sun there will be plenty for pictures taken. Here's what we had so far.
  8. Polished the wheels, did a paint correction and installed the rear valance. It was a fun filled 14 hour day.
  9. I've spoken with 5 different C7 owners and they have no knowledge of Adam's Polishes. A Chevy dealer in town has asked me to come do a demo of the products for the Corvette clubs In town. The dealer only knows Adam's from the corvette club members who I've done clinics for.
  10. Here's a few pictures of a Beautiful Chevy C10 I polished for an upcoming show. Overall it had haze to it. Polishing out the haze really brought out the green and the flake. The paint on the truck is no where perfect. I had to be careful around a few areas wher the paint was failing. I love the stance of this truck and the fact that it's a long bed. Brilliant Glaze and APW gave it the final Adam's Shine.
  11. Being in Wichita there weren't very many C7's sold or available. The dealer was nice enough to get us in contact with the owner of this Stingray. My brother Alex and myself will be doing a paint correction and show prep on this beauty for a vendor display in next weeks show. Overall it's in typical new car shape. Covered in light swirls, scratches and water spots. Just an overall dull finish. After the car was purchased it sat in the showroom on display for a few weeks. So it got a lot of unnecessary rubbing. After we give it the Adam's Shine and make it perfect the car will be professionally photographed. Here's a few shots outside. We'll try and a get a full right up next week or so.
  12. Thanks man. It's weird I only did a handful of Fords this year. 2 mustangs to be exact. Nothing against them but for some reason I didn't add them to the list.
  13. I started this little hobby as a part time thing and very much still is. This year I added being an Adam's Authorized dealer to the list of hobby's. I wanted to put together a little slideshow from the past year. For such a small oporation I've had the opertunity to shine up some great cars. I apologize in advance that my editing skills are awful. I just wanted a quick video to showcase 2013.
  14. Plasti dip has been a great tool to see how your car will look with black or dark accents before making permanent changes. Looks great man. Always good to make it your own.
  15. Bas quality but you get the idea. Sounds amazing.
  16. Short rundown of the mods done to this car.
  17. Thanks guys. I love doing cars like this. When the owner started seeing how well it was turning out he couldn't believe how bad it had gotten. He also left a very generous tip and will be picking up all the essential Adam's products to keep it looking great.
