  1. What a great thread, and thanks for starting it Vette Girl! Here's one of my bachelor party last year in Palm Desert. These criminals are my best friends & fraternity brothers: The next photo is from the Corvettes at Carlisle "Customer Appreciation Party" we host every year. If you come to the show, be sure to come to the party! 2009 will be our 4th annual event! We have friends and customers over, and erect a tent outside of Gate 3. Food is done by Marcello's Italian Restaurant, and is Fabulous! Last shot is a favorite past-time, bicycling. This was taken in 1983, at the 50 Mile Fun Bicycle Ride from Rosarito to Ensenada, Mexico.
  2. I've waxed in sub-30 degree temps with the Buttery Wax, no problem, for the record.
  3. On the '62, it had, AW YNOT. That stands for TONY spelled backwards, my Dad's name. It's going to get a set of original yellow w/ black plates, with the correct 1962 sticker, however, once ready to hit the road!
  4. Modern American and Japanese engines are easy to clean, and have little risk of tripping a sensor, or soaking the electric system to a point of failure. Keep the motor running, and the spray on the hose nice and wide. If you hear it sputter, STOP! Older BMW, Land Rover, MBZ, Audi, and other European cars built pre-2000 can have sensor problems. Your dash can light up like a Christmas tree after a wash! Steams of water are bad!
  5. Ouch, bummer Chris! Hope you get some good drugs at least.
  6. JP! Thanks again for you feedback, as I've not seen a dark-colored compound. Anyway, you are correct, there are really no wax properties to the Machine Super Wax, and a re-name is in the making! I applied a coat of Machine SuperWax to my black Excursion, which lives outside permanently in the mountains of Colorado. Still beads, and looks great 8 months later. It's the most durable protection we offer. Time for a re-name, and thanks for the advice my friend!
  7. Hi Mark, thanks for your question, and here's the reason: The Super Plush Towels pick up double the residue than the less expensive, Chinese towels. That makes the residue more difficult to remove with those towels, and easy to remove with ours. We want customers to have a great experience with our products. Since the Machine SuperWax is actually a polymer sealant with resins and aminos, which protect for a long time, it's harder then the Buttery Wax to remove. Problem: The substantial nature of the product makes it difficult to remove with an entry level towel. We tried it, and it took twice the effort! So, instead of getting, "Hey, this stuff is tough to remove," feedback, we suggested using our Super Plush Towel, and people have had good experiences! Thanks for asking!
  8. Well, you preservation of capital could quite better than having money in the stock or real estate market these days!

  14. Sure Roger, a Clinic would be organized primarily through websites, with everyone invited, particularly a few large car clubs. We send a person, and samples, as well as goods to sell at the event for a discount. All attendees get a chance to work with our products to see how they perform. Typically, people buy goods at the event, and we bring a computer should people want to buy things that we don't have at the event online, with free shipping and a show discount. (We try to load up enough product so that doesn't happen, but often lately, we'll sell out early. As for the sealant, stay tuned! Coming soon . . . . . Thanks again Roger, and glad to have you aboard. Cheers, Adam
