Thanks Ryan! I've had this car since 1980. It was in typical 11 year old used car condition. After saving some $$, I did a frame on restoration back in 1986. Over the years I've maintained it as best as I could. Then engine was out once, and the interior has been replaced again since 1986. It gets driven to all shows and cruises. Driving it is great, and I also like to detail it. After hanging out on this site, I've decided to do a paint correction. It still shines extremely well, but has some scratches from 26 years of wiping, waxing, and what not. But it does not have severe issues that I've seen on some show cars.

These posts are funny! I could certainly hang out at the bar or some place like that, but I choose to give my $$ to Camaro and Chevelle parts vendors, and Adams. Mrs. 69supersport gets the benefit of having the most shiny car on the hospital parking lot!

Went to OC many times when I lived in Maryland. Hope it survives Sandy without significant damage. Ever go to one of the OC Cruises?

I've been searching for a thread on this. Glad I finally found it. So driving a short distance to a cruise, using detail spray only is OK? Longer distances may require Waterless Wash and detail spray? Some show venues here are REAL dusty.

I still have to do the new car "after delivery" detail. But I looks so good! Took this at the Pavilions Cruise in Scottsdale, AZ.
