  1. Thanks everyone.

Yes, after I scrub them, would like to apply treat them.  But since the tires are new, I'll hold off a few months before applying anything.

Years ago I bought black wall tires for this truck and hated the look.  In my eyes, it needs the RWL tires to punch it up a bit.  The OE tires were RWL, guess I got used to that look.  I get quite a few compliments on this Dakota.  Not bad for such a plain truck.

    Anyway, thanks again everyone.

  2. Has anyone seen any effects of the new high efficiency washing machines taking there toll on towels? There is a lot less water used so the towels are constantly being rubbed together with not much water as a cushion between them.

We have an HE washer and have experienced no negative effects. However, I recently had one double soft begin to lint (extremely badly) on me so I pitched it.

  3. Will you guys be there this year?  I was surprised to see you and Adam in the staging lanes two years ago.

Tuesday 1/13 is Ron Pratte Day, where his no-reserve vehicles will be sold.  I'd like to drive that Futurliner but will he happy to drive whatever I draw.

  4. Thanks everyone!

I always thought parking a car with other car enthusiasts would be safe, as we "should" all have a mutual respect of each other's vehicles.  Now I know not everyone has that mutual respect.

I agree things happen, and no one can control the weather.  BUT anyone can control the travel of their car door.   :)

  5. I hope no one ever becomes the recipient of a door ding at, of all places, a car show. When I returned from awards, I noticed the car parked next to me all day was gone. When walking around my Chevelle, I noticed the below scuff from the impact of a door. Needless to say, I was not happy. I planned a solution featuring the pictured products.

Although some of the scuffs catch my fingernail, I am happy to report the pictured results. At least there is no significant sheet metal damage, but to remove all of the scuffs, I'll have to color sand the area.

At least it is not nearly as noticeable.

    Thanks Adam's!
