  1. Sorry! What I meant to say was tire lol. I hate scrubbing tires and a fender/tire brush on a drill seems like it would work great. Almost like polishing the tires except with APC
  2. Cool. Ill try the air next time!
  3. Good ideas in here! For me I would say the hex pads are definitely tougher. Accidentally hit a corner with the new pads I got for Christmas and it ripped down the middle. Concentrated products(such as APC) with dilution instruction/recommendations. Interior cleaner Some type of wheel brush for a drill Can't wait to see the new products for 2013!
  4. Same problem but with pc. I do a x, work a section, hit with DS and they do another section, then DS and 2 drops of polish, pea size. Seems to help cut down on dusting and caking but still does it. I feel like I'm not using enough polish some times though, although in some of the videos it doesn't even look like any polish is on the paint when he polishes
  5. Thanks for the responses guys. I was using Adams everything lol. Still stained the plastics. My fault for not preventing it in the first place, live and learn. I will try the APC and maybe peanut butter lol, even though I just washed the truck :rage: It just makes the plastics look trashy when they are covered in wax.
  6. I have wax and polish in the black plastics and rhino/linex lining on my truck. Any ideas how to get it to come out? I scrubbed with wash mitt and even a little brush. No luck. Tryed back to black and its still there. Next time I'm buying better tape for polishing. And this is with back to black. Can still see on lower part of plastic
  7. Some good info in here. My mother has a steamer and I thought about using it to clean my vehicle. To me though seems like it will not/doesn't do much by just blowing steam into the carpet or seats. Do y'all just wipe down with micro after? Or vacuum? Thanks for advice!
  8. What is bombing a car? How/what did you used to clean around seat frames? Long brushes and c&uc? Looks great man!
  9. Those Home Depot sprayers seem to run out very quickly!
  10. Lmao, gotta do whatcha got do I guess. Either way both are badass products!
  11. Where are you located in Atlanta? I'm dead center of Marietta.
  12. Mook, I have taken most if not all into consideration :shake: glad you restated them so I can be sure to cross all my T's and dot my i's . I'm currently working on my business plan as we speak. I'm going to be mobil and after a few months I hope to have a place in my dads warehouse to detail cars. He bought an old car dealership so it already has wash bays and such in it.
  13. Thanks. I have beenn thinking about about insurance, but not really sure who to contact. I have a flyer I'm working on right now. Will post it when I finally get it finished.
  14. :shake: Thanks man, figured that was what was most commonly used.
  15. Hello all, I am trying to start my own detailing business/side job. I love detailing so much I would really like to make it my career! I have detailed mostly family cars. I keep records of what I did, how I did it and what products I used. I would say Im your average detailer who thinks he's above average:rockon: But am aways open for advise! After joining this forum I have learned many new things. SO what are some do's and don'ts for a newb like myself!
  16. So most of you use Dawn for strip washing? I thought about using some APC but was a little skeptical.
  17. Nice Right now I use the garden feed and water attachment with the fertilizer holder on the bottom. Seems to work okay, but Im about to order the above foam gun! Looks Awesome!
