  1. I have a PC 7424XP for sale, it will come with the stock backing plate and also a 4" for the focus pads. Has 7 paint corrections on it or so. The white stuff on the backing plate is just old compund that i can not get out. Will come in original box(not in good shape) packed into another box for protection. MFG date shows to be 2010. If you want a video of it running or anything let me know and i can text you one.
  2. You read right, i was in the oakley store this past weekend when i noticed. I picked up a pair of "Aviatior" type sunglesses to try on and boom, right on the right side it says CHINA. That really aggrevated me because the only reason i buy OAKLEYS is because they are made in the good ol' US of A. I will point out that all of their plastic type sunglasses still say Made in USA, but every metal frame i saw was made in CHINA.
  3. Have you ever used Invisible Undercarriage Spray? It works wonder.
  4. I have finished maybe 1/5th of it and am about 5 1/2 hours deep into it. Im looking forward to being done (:
  5. Well, i got anxious and started on the Honda tonight instead of tomorrow moring(today). Im not good with the picture, description things, and i dont have a super hero camera either. I did color sand a few areas on the hood before starting the TEDIOUS process of getting this thing back to normal. I wont sit here and say it is 100% good, but i would say that it is 90% SOS mark free so far on what i have completed. I have finished the Hood, upper LH fender, upper LH door, And both door pillars. Products used. Two Bucket Wash Adams Car Wash Shampoo Clay Bar Adams Detail Spray Adams Great White Microfiber Drying Towel Gilmour Foam Gun with Strip Wash Mix (1/3 APC, 1/3 WW, 1/3 CWS) Adams Waterless Wash Adams APC Adamd Glass Cleaner 70/30 Water/ CWS mix Porter Cable 7424 Adams Green, Orange, and White polishing pads Craftsman Drill Adams 4" Focus Pads Adams 3 Step Polishes Other Brand Cutting Compound Adams Single Soft Microfiber Adams Double Soft Microfiber Sorry for the upside down pics and different side views. IDK why my phone does that, i will be adding pics as progress is made! 6. I have tried this as well, i would say it gives it twice "POP" of the TID. With that said, either or is fine with me, im just on a TID kick right now (:
  7. First of all Welcome to Adams Addicts, i mean, um, Adams Forums (: Secondly i would definitely pick up some Glass cleaner and Glass Cleaning Towels!
  8. Thanks one of my favorite things under the hood... other than the 6.2 (: I dont see what the problem would be, it honestly shouldnt have any effect over the product. TID leaves VERY little behind, and what it leaves i dont see temperature altering it.
  9. This may not be the correct way to word it, but... If you have the plastic that has a fairly "rough" finish that has had what appeared to be a hard water stain it covers those up like crazy. I have a few that i cant get out even with straight APC, and the TID covers it up no problem.
  10. here is one more pic from a different angle
  11. To me it works well, others might not think so. I have been happy with it so far, and as stated earlier i think it leaves the perfect finish. In and Out isnt water repellent i dont believe, someone correct me if i am wrong. SVRT is still going on my tires all the time though (:
  12. After i clean up my engine bay and get it dried i personally dont like to use SVRT anymore. I am finding more and more places to use my TID, and the engine bay is one more of them. It gives it the "just cleaned" look and i feel like it keeps the look just as long as any other product.
  13. I'll make a thread in the detailing section. It's definitely going to be a task
  14. This is me(left), and my other half.... I figured i would participate now that i dont have metal mouth (:
  15. Ready to be on my detail grind!!

  16. Welcome from Greenville! Not too far from you!
  17. I went ahead and picked up some "1500 ish" polishing compound just to be on the safe side for a little more cut. Not going to lie, i'm pretty excited to get to work on this thing.
  18. well, i am doing it next Tues, so unless the new cutter is out by then ill be using the Big M's product unfortunately. Unless they come out with it before then...hint hint
  19. Well, here are my thoughts after visual inspection. The hood is the worst obviously, because that's where 99% of the bug were. I did a (quick) test pass with all 3 polishes on the upper door and I would say it removed 75% of the swirling. The hood will be a challenge to say the least. I don't see me getting the hood to near perfect condition without at least a more aggressive cutting compound than I have in my Adams collection, or color sanding. I will be starting on the truck next Tuesday and will have it for a few days. Picture to come upon arrival.
  20. You people have to stop doing this to me! I havent even eaten lunch yet!
  21. I guess I didn't see what wa wrong with this response, thanks for the tips. I'm thinking its going to take the green pad from the get go. I'm am going to look at the truck here in a few hours. Will take some pics and post them up when I get back.
  22. Honestly with light dusting i'd use Green Wheel Cleaner to be safe.
