  1. Also, I would invest in a synthetic fabric detergent such as those offered by McNett or Penguin. They rinse completely clean. Have the washer rinse a second time if it offers that option. Good luck!
  2. I too store mine in a Rubbermaid tub. I have a separate tub for brushes, foam gun, extra spray nozzles, metro vac, etc.
  3. Looks good though. I too have a garage queen (2011 SS) and I agree with straight BG to Americana. I also understand your love for the car, which drives the desire for max protection. One coat of MSS and BG to two coats Americana would be time well spent. BTW, is that your kid chillin in the back seat!?
  4. They have done the same for me, and more than once. I love these products, as well as their business strategy. Its not groundbreaking, but it seems few to none practice this level of dedication and appreciation towards customers.
  5. Anthony, I've been all over Europe for business. Your area and Italy in general are pretty darn wet. We have massive infrastructure issues when designing in those countries due to soft/wet ground.
  6. It looks really, really good man. Nicely done both in terms of detailing, and tasteful customization.
  7. Make sure you clay before you PC for sure. I have an SS, so I agree, looks great, for a mustang!
  8. 1. Americana 2. Brilliant Glaze 3. Detail Spray I'm surprised how hard this was to decide, lol.
  9. I did brush one out with my fiancée's hair brush tonight to undo the "dread lock" effect. Worked pretty well, and was not caught during he act. Greeeeeat success!
  10. Wow, never thought of that. Great information, I'm going to do this tonight. I also just watched Dylan's mat washing technique video and will follow that perfectly next time. I always rinsed and cleaned them, but not so systematically.
  11. ^ This man is smart. I keep it in the climate controlled house in a Harry Potter closet under the stairs. Its basically my Adams closet as I have about 12 Gallon jugs, 7 in and out cans, 3 super sealants, tubs of applicators, tubs of towels, etc. I had my Americana in the fridge and thats what made it crack. Oh well I guess. It seemed to work just fine last application.
  12. I was thinking the same, or a pyrex inside of a larger pan slowly heated to the necessary temp to melt the way. I'd lose a bit in the pyrex during re-pour, but oh well. I'd only resort to that if there was an application issue, or it got hard to work with. I did the SS a couple weeks back and it did seem to apply just fine.
  13. I live in NM, there is no humidity here. I'll go ahead and say average of 15-20%. I think Ive read Dylan sate that they designed the new containers to be air tight as air is detrimental to the wax. No air movement, no humidity alteration.
  14. Great, Nice GTO BTW. I had a 2004, but was jaded after the 2005 came out. 2005 was MUCH better IMO.
  15. Hey guys, obviously I'm new, but Ive been using adams for a couple of years and have been trolling the forums for a while. Thanks for the great info and topics! I received a tub of americana with my porter cable polishing kit and it was cracked. I sent pics to Adams and of course, they immediately replaced my wax. I took precautions this time and learned from the forums that I could/should put it in the fridge, which I did. I left to Turkey for a business project and was gone close to a year. When I took the tub out of the fridge, sure enough, three cracks. It seemed to go on my Camaro fine other than a few flakes and clumps breaking away at the crack edges. My question is, is this normal? Ok to use? It certainly isn't as user friendly as a solid puck for sure. I don't want to put Adams out, and I don't want something for nothing. Im wondering what it is that I'm doing that is causing this? Matt
