  1. I live in a rural area and use a PO box. I will probably stick with Fedex. They tend to do a better job of getting items to me vs USPS (who really seem to enjoy sending packages/mail back if the sender made a mistake on the address). Hopefully new mailbox (once I detail it) at the house will alleviate those issues.
  2. Figures I just got switched over to the new 2 step polishes and there is new product coming out. Ordered new clay and then blue clay comes out. Ordered machine super sealant and liquid paint sealant comes out. If you want something upgraded let me place an order and you wait. Lol.
  3. Flex! I started with PC. You cannot put a price on time. I have PC set up for small pads for tight areas.
  4. If that is the case then I am going to keep the clay bar.
  5. I think sometimes people under estimated the quality. I know I was disappointed to see the fire hose nozzle leave before I bought one. However I picked one up from Thompsons Racing and it is one of my favorite Adam's products. Wish I would have bought one sooner.
  6. I also have an extra Adams clay bar blue version that I could add to the trade. I got it with mystery box. Afraid it will dry out before I use it.
  7. Pass on the Total Detailer with a new version coming out at some point.
  8. I could use a lug nut brush, glass towels, double soft towels, APC, Detail Spray. Quick Sealant, or wash pads. Doesn't have to be these items.
  9. Thanks but I already have one of them.
  10. I just received a new bottle of Brilliant Glaze in last mystery box sale. I already have one partial bottle plus another full bottle. It will take me a while to go through that much Brilliant Glaze and I would hate for it to waste away on a shelf. I am looking to trade it for something else. I open to anything really. Doesn't necessarily have to be equivalent value. Thanks.
  11. Great move guys. I think it will allow Adams to be even more competitive.
  12. Adams just brought the Flex back. They had quit selling it for a little while. http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/27438-there-is-another-machine-polisher-at-adams/
  13. I started with a PC and soon found myself wanting a Flex. I ended up picking one up from Phil @ Detailers Domain when Adam's quit carrying them. Love the Flex.
  14. I have used other dedicated tire cleaners and they seem to work quicker. With APC seems I am constantly cleaning trying to remove the brown gunk.
  15. I ran into the same thing at work. Used the IPad to complete it.
  16. I did the same thing. Used entirely too much TS for the tires. It would never dry. Works much better spraying on the applicator.
  17. THANK YOU!!! I was talking to the wife about this last night. Told her at least I know there won't be one called Stripper Scent!
  18. I love this idea. I have tried the other brand mentioned here. I got roughly a week or so out of them before the scent is gone. Not sure if there is anyway to make them last longer. Oh and as far as flavors I would be good with any current Adam's product smell....except Deep Wheel Cleaner....ewww.
  19. Another for MacBook. I bought my wife a Sony laptop about 4 years ago and it's been nothing but trouble. Bought a MacBook this past October and love it.
  20. All personal use. I pretty much started from scratch. I had bought a machine and polishes from another place before I ever learned about Adam's. I had very lackluster results. Then I found Adams and immediately ordered polishes and pads. Little by little I kept trying more and more products. As my confidence grew in the brand with each product I bought more. Plus as my knowledge grew so did my need to do it right. For example (everyone get ready to cringe) at one time I used an old bucket with whatever old wash cloth and soap I could find. Now I use Adam's 2 bucket wash with Adam's wash pads and Adams shampoo. I eventually learned to buy gallons after a while. Now I keep gallons in about 5 or 6 different products...all Adams. Also, i have bought several mystery boxes just because it's fun to see what you are going to get.
  21. Mine too. She is starting to get into detailing as well. The other day she sent me a pic of her car in the parking lot with how shiney it was compared to the other cars. Made my day.
  22. Absolutely! It's amazing how much I have learned in that time frame. From proper washing techniques to interior detailing. My vehicles have never looked better.
