How much do YOU spend?
Antv20 replied to PT3's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I am around $1450 for 2.5 years. This doesn't include purchases from Adam's dealers, any machine purchases, or any non-Adams purchases (those are few and far between). -
Long lasting sealant...?
Antv20 replied to blackpearl's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
While a coating doesn't really appeal to me since I use detailing as therapy, I would certainly be interested in a coating for wheels. -
Lol. Well we actually had a round of snow and lovely road salt in November (which never happens). Also, keep in mind I don't have a garage.

Rinseless wash has been a life saver for me especially since I don't have a garage. Typically our vehicles don't look this good this late in the year. I am able to keep that fresh detailed look with 50 degree weather.

Adam really needs to hook up with a local guy here that does sublimation printing for shirts. Instead of a screen print where you have a logo stuck on a shirt, the logo is basically dyed into the material yet the material remains soft and flexibe like its not even there.

I did the same thing. I started with a porter cable. Wasn't long I was looking for more power and speed, so I bought a flex. Now I keep the PC setup for small pads. I really wish I would have got the Flex to begin with.

You Ask....Why Have We Removed Products from our Site?

The fire nozzle is an amazing product. I held off forever from getting one until I ended up having to get it from Thompson Racing. Although it may seem pricey it is well worth the money. -
What do you Think of my Lloyd Mats Fitment?

Nice. Love the Weathertechs in my truck. -
Wasn't today, but I polished our new stainless steel fridge. It was a floor model with minor scuffs but we got a heck of a deal on it. Now the wife says I need to do the stainless on the dishwasher too. Oh and the scuffs are gone.

Best news EVER! -
That is hillarious. Of course I didn't mention the bible lesson the buyer gave me either. I found humor in considering I saw the message after I got home from church.

I usually ship within 2 days. I put it up for sale not knowing if it will even sale. How could I ship Friday when I was at work when I received payment? I live in a small time and the post office equipment has not been updated to electronic. So I usually ship from the town I work in due to this. I have sold items on other forums and ebay. I have NEVER had an issue. Camaro, I think he expected me to be like Amazon. I don't think any scam to it, just he was wanted it instantly. The part that bothered me is he acted like I was trying to scam him.

A little background. On another forum I was selling a K&N air filter that had been given to me. I had a buyer pay through paypal Friday at 3:30 pm. Buyer asked if I received money. I responded with a yes and I would try to get it shipped Monday/Tuesday. Here is what I got in return "Listen, I'm not trying to be rude, but a "maybe Mon or Tues" is a bit of a stretch. I sent the money yesterday, as soon as I received your message at 3:30, and the post office is open today. It seems fair to me that you would've mentioned a delay in sending *before* I paid. Again, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I sent you the money in good faith, and expect that to be reciprocated. So can you please say for sure when you will mail it out?" This absolutely struck me wrong. I refunded his money and told him I choose not to sell to you. What would you guys have done?

Discussion: Adam's new Tire Shine
Antv20 replied to Team Adam's's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Sounds like you applied too much. I had same issue. I applied too much and it would not dry. -
Does anyone not have any patience any more? Seems everyone wants things "right here, right now". I ordered on July 5th. I have not received my tracking yet, however I am not worried about it. I understand Adam's got slammed with the sale and also understand they are a small business. They were open and honest about having shipping issues. Adam, himself, started this thread about 3 weeks ago. I don't believe anyone can honestly think those issues were solved in that time frame. After all they are looking at setting up another distribution center. I placed an order during the initial Tire Shine release. When I contacted Ben, he offered to expedite the shipping for free. My response was ship it normal and save the company the money. I wasn't in a rush for the order anyways. As far as Adam's response...I really don't blame him. He is trying to address the issues. Him and the team are doing their best, yet its not good enough for some. Nothing is more aggravating than putting your best foot forward only to have someone complain they didn't get instant gratification. Just my opinion so take it for what it is worth........which is nothing.

You mean I wasn't supposed to try and drown the tire. Had a pretty good storm roll through last night wish I would have snapped some pics of the beading action. -

Went back and started over on my truck. Apparently I thought I needed to drown the tire in TS. Worked perfectly with a spray top, bottom, left, and right. Also, did the wife's car after I gave it a bath. Had to go cut back on the TS for her low profile tires but worked like a charm. Nice and dry. -

Yep, used too much. On the plus side have a really low shine tires right now. Pretty happy so far other than the operator error. Lol. -
Discussion: Adam's new Tire Shine
Antv20 replied to Team Adam's's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I think I applied mine wrong or did not get the tire clean enough. I could never get the Tire Shine to dry. I cleaned each tire twice with APC. Then went over them the car wash shampoo. I sprayed the TS on and actually let it set overnight (Sunday) then wiped them off the next morning (forgot to watch how to video at first). The shine was still wet yesterday. We had rain yesterday evening and now it looks like most of the TS is gone. I was getting very little beading probably related to the product not drying. I am guessing I over applied the TS. Any thoughts???? -

Adam's got slammed with orders because of the tire shine plus having some logistics issue that will soon be resolved. -

I've always had issues with 303 running after rain. No issues with VRT. -
Had no issues running 7 inch pads on my PC before I upgraded machines. Now the PC is setup for small pads

Adams new product releases?

Definitely curious about the tire shine. Especially if it will last longer than the VRT. Not having a garage doesn't help either.
