  1. Then what do you do when you have left over product sitting in the container? Wife uses Clorox wipes in the house all the time. It never fells, the last few wipes are over saturated with a ton of product left in the container. :/
  2. Everyone has been tight lipped on this since DVK left.
  3. Thanks. I will have to get some pics when I wash the wife's car. I told her not to park under the tree! Of course, she didn't listen and has the nerve to say her car is dirty.
  4. At home I have to partially park my truck under a tree, which naturally the roof catches the bulk of the sap and whatever tree fallout. Probably been 3 weeks or more since I washed my truck...keeping up 3 vehicles is hard work. You can only imagine the mess I had on the roof along with the bug guts on the front of the truck. Now keep in mind the truck is coated- closing in on a year for an "up to 2 years coating'. Given the condition I opted to use the new Strip Wash with HGG as a drying aid. What I didn't realize is that I did not have any wash pads clean. So I had to revert back to the Adams wash wedge, not ideal given the tough, stuck on, and heat baked junk that was on the paint. Started the 2 bucket wash (chasing daylight so no time for foam cannon setup). Started with roof and it cleaned up remarkably well for using the wedge. I had more stubborn bug guts on the front so I went back and let the SW soak in before I tried to remove. Overall, I am really please with how well the product work considering I was using the wash wedges. Happy I didn't have to scrub to get everything off. Just a couple of notes. I did not notice any issues with Adams Glass Sealant afterwards. Keep in mind it is a few weeks old. I normally use HGG as my drying aid, so my last coat should have been relatively fresh. The paint looked super clean and noticed my water sheeting returning from the coating. Also, I have a tire coating on that I have struggled with results on for a while. Doesn't appear the SW effected it, but I would say that it is thanks to the Tire and Rubber Cleaner helping me to properly prep the tires....finally! Overall I give the product a
  5. Great to hear. My truck is covered with sap and tree fall out. Looking forward to using.
  6. I thought about rehab but said forget it...I ain't a quitter. Lol.
  7. I had the go through 3 cleanings on my tires to eliminate the brown. I keep going until the cleaner no longer turned brown. Yes I used a lot of product but it was worth it. This is one product probably better off buying a gallon....which I have on the way.
  8. Too much product...maybe? I use the grey edgeless microfiber towel and then finish with a double soft. I only use 1-2 sprays per panel.
  9. Same here. I apply over GS with no issues.
  10. I would really like to see a dedicated tire cleaner for this. I end up using another product cause APC isn't strong enough.
  11. In my experience that clay requires a lot more effort to remove contaminants.
  12. Coated our new patio furniture yesterday just in time for a down pour today.
  13. I have one. I like it better than the wash wedge. I just ordered a 2nd mitt so my wife can have one when she helps me wash our vehicles.
  14. Nice save! By the way most recommend sealant then glaze.
  15. Did you try the old wheel cleaner? Anything is probably an improvement over it. Lol.
  16. I second the metal polish. Last year we bought a floor model stainless fridge. It had some scuffs on it and the metal polish worked wonders. Really made the stainless pop and made our stainless dishwasher look bad sine it hasn't been polished.
  17. I was nervous about applying the coating but after the first panel it was a breeze. Quite frankly it was easier than applying Americana. Certainly some coatings have a steep learning curve but some don't. I had a negative few of coatings at first. Thought it would take the fun out of it but it hasn't. Certainly helped me maintain both cars this winter a lot easier. Obviously I think if Adams would introduce a coating it would be similar to the product I used. Easy to apply plus the ability to wax over it.
  18. Not true for all coatings. I am using a coating now due to my vehicles living outside 24/7. I can top it with a wax if I choose. I still get to enjoy detailing the car. Just requires a little less effort plus the paint looks amazing after a round of Detail Spray.
  19. I recently tried a coating that can be topped with wax. I found it just as easy if not easier to use than Americana. A coating does not have to be difficult to use. I opted to go that way due to all my vehicles living outside 24/7.
  20. That is great news. I know some say HG&G can be used in Quick Sealants place but there are some things Quick Sealant is just better for.
  21. Wedge holds up well. I had mine for a while. No issues.
  22. I agree the blue just doesn't seem to work as well. I had mine from mystery boxes but I made sure to ziploc and detail spray to keep from drying out. Thought mine had gone bad but it did seem to get better after kneeding. Still doesn't seem as good as the gray one before. Doesn't seem sticky at all.
  23. Luckily I still have 2 full cans left thanks to good ol' mystery boxes.
