Pollen Removal

Pollen season is starting in Georgia and I'm curious what is the best method for removal, short of washing a clean car?

 

I've watched the Junkman's demonstration of the California Duster and use it for minor dusting but I'm not sure if it's best for the level of pollen I experience.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm there with you. The morning dew and pollen sitting on the car won't let me take it off with the Cali duster, even after the dew has evaporated. Haven't found a way short of washing it either.

Short of an re-wash, Waterless Car Wash will work for this, with the Waterless towels (softer than the drying towel). The WCW is better than Detail Spray for this, as it has lubricants and wetting agents to encapsulate dirt.

And remember..no wiping in a circle. Spray it on good and then wipe down in one direction. Fold the towel over to clean area and wipe next are down in one direction.

At this point in a spring schedule, I just ride it until the end of pollen season and wash weekly (weather permitting ).
